His team was always on time and polite, and they left everything better than it had been even without us asking for it: i.e. trimming back ungainly trees/bushes when they could have just rocked/mulched under them, fixed a sunken section of our flagstone walkway when all we'd asked was for some edging to go along the side, made sure the plants we were adding to the rocked area had some mulch under them to absorb water. This was all included in the original quote - no extra was charged for these. I appreciated that they knew exactly what tweaks to make to get the job done right, and the result is a beautiful new outdoor space! We're so happy with the work CLC did and definitely recommend them to anyone. (Included: some before and after photos. Most of the work was done well, although…read morethe rock I received was so very dirty, and the weed mat was practically useless because of all the dirt in the rock. This season, the rock area is so dirty, with areas that show mostly dirt , that more rock is needed, yet the dirt will remain. I take part of the blame for not refusing to accept the dirty rock, although I was told that the dirt would disappear, which it did not. We spent about $20k on this landscaping and unfortunately will be spending more to complete it this summer. Be diligent in inspecting your project before accepting the results.
