No complaints there. The cake is fine as well. But this place is just too small. The interior looks like the living room of a family with way too many kids, and on popular hours the place is always full. Which is probably good for business, but it doesn't invite you to spend a longer time here with a newspaper and a good book - which is what I want of a coffee bar. You can't concentrate and due to the small size of the bar you're always anxious to make space for newcomers. Want to grab a quick cup of good coffee: this is the perfect place. Spot a free place on terrace on a nice day to sit outside: also perfect. But to relax and read a book I would absolutely avoid this place.

The owner is…read morereally passionate about good coffee and while it is a real uphill battle in the Netherlands he and his staff serve some pretty good coffee. It does perhaps not match the best in the Nordics, UK and the US but they are doing a fine job serving coffee. They change the roast at regular intervals so even when coming here pretty frequently I do not tire. Very friendly service and they are happy to chat about coffee and other things so I really like the place. I have actually never sampled any of the food or other drinks but a few colleagues have sampled some of the fresh juices offered and were very pleased. My main reason to go is however the coffee. If I could wish for any improvements it would be longer opening hours as I often struggle to get here before they close (and have already been working for a while when they open). Thursdays are the exception when they are open late. Would also be great if they added a brew bar but from what I understand the interest is limited.
