I was gritting my teeth getting in / out of the car, standing up from or sitting down in a chair, getting out of bed, or embarrassingly standing up from the commode, etc. I was in bad shape and needed to be mobile to fully check out this nice town, and besides the non stop pain, really needed more mobility to fully investigate the environs. Drs. Huxford and Fox appreciated my pain and situation. They both took the time to discuss what my pains were, and fully explained the procedures that they were performing on my back. On a daily basis, they were very attentive and concerned with any pain, my progress and thankfully, the increased mobility and lessening of pain in my back. These men are concerned, very knowledgeable healers and I very highly recommend them for your back concerns. I received more personalized attention from these gentleman than from the over-inflated folks back east. The entire support crew at the Huxford Clinic were a superb professional, very friendly supportive bunch too. Yeah, I'm not going back to this one. I came in for a…read morepregnancy adjustment. I was a first time patient of this office and of chiropractic care which means I wasn't exactly sure what to expect but I can tell you I wasn't expecting to be rushed through the whole process like a cow getting vaccinated. I was nervous about it since this was my first time (something I communicated to the chiropractor) and his response? Crack, crack, crack, "well you're too tense so that's why the one part of your body you desperately wanted adjust didn't release like it should've." Uh, okay? Maybe like help me try to relax before just gunning it? Before I could even process any of it I was on to the next thing - an ultrasound. Wait, no, actually two ultrasounds where for about 5 mins in each spot they put a gel on me. And charged me $25 each! Because it was all so rushed and there was no communication I figured it was apart of the adjustment. Come to find out when I left the bill was TWICE as much as it would've of been had they just given me what I asked for instead of tricking me into spending more. The actual adjustment was fine. My neck and shoulders really needed it apparently and they cracked me like a glow stick. But where I really wanted the attention (my pregnant hips) barely got any and what I did get was ineffective because I was too tense - huh, I wonder why. If you are familiar with chiropractic care, sure yeah this place is fine. Tell them what you want and don't get swindled. But if you're brand new to it all, I don't recommend this place because you're not gonna get the personalization you'd probably want during a first time visit, and they are probably gonna give you extra treatment you didn't ask for without telling you it'll cost extra. Even if they wanted to tell you, they wouldn't have had the time cause of how busy they are trying to get you out of there. Crack at your own risk.

I went in to request my medical records and itemized billing statements, which is a right of any…read morepatient. The front desk staff argued with me about my workers' comp case and kept insisting that everything had already been "taken care of" instead of simply processing my request. I explained that I needed my records for a separate auto insurance claim, but continued to receive pushback rather than assistance. Patients should not have to justify why they are requesting their own medical records; it's nobody's business. Instead of helping, I was met with attitude, arguments, and delays. I was told I would need to wait several days for records that should already be readily available. I was also told she was "too busy" to provide them at that time, even though nobody else was in the lobby. I even offered to wait in the office for them and she told me to come back when she calls me that they're ready. Overall, the interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily difficult for something as straightforward as requesting my own medical documentation. Aside from this interaction, I personally would not recommend this office. My experience overall has not been positive, and I have had better results and a better experience with another provider in the area.
