Moving house is a pretty stressful time, but Harrow made it a whole lot easier. I had asked them for a quote via email a few months before - it was around what we expected, not super cheap but not super expensive. Closer to the time they confirmed everything was on schedule. On the day, two guys came exactly when they said they would, they were very fast, very efficient and very careful. The house we were moving into is 'tricky' - narrow spiral staircase in the middle of the downstairs living area. But nothing was too much trouble - when lifting heavy items up over the balustrade, the owner Charlie came by to give the other guys a hand. They had it all done in around 4 hours. I was so impressed, I make sure I tell anyone who is moving house about them, since it's always great to get a local recommendations for these type of trades ;)

From dingy and mossy to bright, fresh and clean in just a couple of hours, it was amazing! Great service, managed to get Richard around the next day for a quote and the job completed later…read morethat day. Garden looks great and a lot of extra care taken and helpful advice given. Couldnt be home during the day but arranged to have Richard in through the back while we were out. Very trustworthy and he made sure everything was closed before he left. Would definitely recommend Richard Castley and Short Back & Sides to anyone else in the Burnside area.

WORST removalists I've EVER used. It all seemed professional until moving day. My furniture was…read moredamaged. They didn't wrap the fridge in blankets and then tried to shove it through a gate without measuring it. Yelling and swearing and scaring myself and the neighbours who came out to ask if everything was ok. The fridge was all scratched on the front and sides. I suggested to take it around the back but they ignored me and tried again 2 more times and further damaged it. I had to grab my own measuring tape to show them it wouldn't fit. One of them also told me if I didn't buy them coffees they weren't going to look after my furniture. Oh and one of them showed me his stab wound scars and told me about all the times he'd been stabbed. I was scared of them and felt very intimidated as a woman who was alone. I shouldn't have paid considering they ruined my $2000 fridge. But the manager LIED to me and said if I pay a reduced rate ($750 down from $1150) for the move he will put through an insurance claim. As soon as I paid he said he wasn't going to put through the claim because I didn't take out accident insurance.... Even though this was pure negligence and their accident insurance was advertised for if the truck crashes during the move etc. Grateful for a discount on the move but absolutely not good enough. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

They kept us in the loop when our shipment was due to arrive. The team that moved us on the day into our house was fantastic. I must make mention of each of them Luke, Michael, Todd and Logi. They were so friendly and helpful in every way possible, nothing was too much trouble! I highly recommend this company if you are doing a move, I would also like to say that not one single item was broken, nothing!
