I went to Swigzz Restaurant And Lounge on a Saturday evening to celebrate my line sister's birthday a few months back with a party of six. There was plenty of free parking available and no cover fee. I was the last one to arrive at the table (only about 5 minutes late). When I sat down, there was already a drink tower on the table along with cups and water. Our server was quick to put in drink and food orders, but not as attentive. I ordered a sprite and she brought a can that was dented without noticing, so it had to be exchanged to avoid an explosion upon opening it. The food was just okay. I liked their cheese sticks, but the house salad with salmon was lacking flavor. No one at the table seemed to love their food. A few ordered pasta, wings and differing apps. Overall, we enjoyed the music selection that the djay played and the vibes were good. They required a large deposit for reservations, but it seemed like there were plenty of empty seats available and ease to walk in and sit either at the bar or at a table without one. My cousin and I visited again Easter night wanting a good hookah and once again, Dyson didn't disappoint. It was only like 10 people in there so it took no time for it to come. We were surprised to find out they had a Happy Hour going on. I had a bad experience with the wings before, but these were wayy better; regular atl wings. They were fried perfectly. The sweet potato fries were normal, nothing extra. They only had can drinks; not really a problem besides realizing you paying $3 for a can, but better than a flat drink. Went here on Friday night for the first time. The place was packed with a much younger crowd than I expected. I sat at the bar with my GF and ordered food. Once I placed my order I asked the bar tender if I could sit at one of the available table and she said yes but it's an hour max for seating My GF ordered spicy honey wings and they brought her food out and I still didn't get my fish. How about it was spicy wings with a sample cup of honey on the side. I guess she was suppose to mix the honey her self with the cup of honey. She had eaten 1/2 her food and I still didn't get my fish. I got up and went to the bar and asked about my food. Another 5 minutes later the food came out. The fish tasted good, the only reason for the 3 stars but the cabbage was severely over cooked and the rice was too wet for me and I didn't like the appearance of the rice. I also feel like they top the rice with something then removed it for what ever the reason. There were indent marks in the rice, maybe they had plantains on the rice and Later removed it. The ambiance of the place is cool. Nice decor, however their music could be turned down a smidge during their earlier hours. Now to the food. My mother ordered crab cakes, fries, and a salad. I ordered the Rasta pasta with salmon. We were the only guests seated before two other tables arrived after us. We put in our ordered before these tables also. My mom's food came out and I was still waiting for mine. She literally finished her food and I was still waiting. The large group next to us was getting their appetizers and I was still waiting on my food. Again our order was put in before theirs. 20-30 mins after my mom has eaten I finally received my order. Some overcooked penne with barely any onions/peppers and a crap ton of butter. The salmon tasted like it was previously frozen. When we asked why it took so long we were told it was because I ordered an entree and my mom ordered appetizers. That would have been believable had the restaurant been packed and I had ordered something extremely complicated. And they cooked the others tables appetizers before my food was ever started! It should not have taken that long for some pasta and salmon. And it did not taste good for it to take so long. Our server lacked decent customer service. Honestly she didn't want to be there and could've stayed home. The best item we had were the truffle fries. read more

I decided to join friends to watch the Falcons vs Saints game at 4 pm on 11/23/2025. i arrived early because I'm a Steeler fan, so I arrived at 1pm. Swigzz looked charming and normal outside but inside was bright, clean and lively. Well lit and after waiting for someone to place my game on a screen, I ordered a blue moon, because they didn't carry draft beer or Shocktop.... Something I pray they will correct going forward. The waitress returned to tell me they were out of blue moon and I had to settle for coors light instead, my universal go to. Moving ahead, around the 4th quarter internet connectivity became an issue and I missed the first half of the fourth quarter, waiting for the steelers to come back against the streaking Chicago Bears. That's when a nice waitress brought over her ipad and allowed me to finish the game. We lost anyway. No allow me to back up for a second. With all the ups and downs of my initial visit to Swigzz, something special happened as I watched the first half of the pittsburgh game. I ordered they are nachos with beef and a side of guacamole. I give the Beef nachos a A -, because the cheese was not my favorite. It could just be me. Nevertheless, I finished my plate, nachos and scraped all the cheese and tidbits off of my plate. That's when the waitress reminded me that I had not had my guacamole because they were making it fresh in the back. She agreed to bring me a plate of chips to go with the guac. Thinking this was gonna be a bummer and I was really focused on the game. 10-15 minutes after finishing my nachos , the guacamole arrived with the extra chips. I over eat at times and thought about passing on this trailing item. Since I had paid for it, I decided to take a chip and dip it in the guacamole. What I experienced next was one of the most awesome culinary orgasmic moments I've had in my five decades if life. The absolute perfect blend of avocado, lime and whatever else they use....exploded throughout my palette and sent shock waves through my soul. When I decided to write this , I did not know if I wanted to start with the guacamole or end with the connectivity issues and the amount of Pittsburgh Steeler plays I missed. However this guacamole experience overshadowed everything that I experienced during my first visit to Swiggz, and yes, I plan to return really soon. It was a slow Monday, which worked for us, but the service started off rocky. Our first server seemed annoyed from the start, checking in every couple of minutes before we'd even had time to look at the menu. About 15 minutes later, we had a new server who was much better. The food came out one dish at a time, with over 10 minutes between each, and often in no particular order--some plates arrived cold, with only the pasta dishes served fresh. Drinks were slow to arrive, served in glasses and plastic cups, and one glass even had a price sticker still on it. The DJ kept the music going, which was nice, but it was louder than necessary for such a slow night. Overall, the restaurant has high potential, but this visit wasn't the best. I would ABSOLUTELY NOT recommend this lounge. I visited with my cousin and friend yesterday. It was my first time and their second time. We sat at a high top table in what seemed like metal outdoor chairs with the smallest seats and little cushions that wouldn't stay in place. My friend ordered a wine that came with a piece of a strawberry in it...huh? I ordered a lemon drop that had ZERO "drop"! So, ordered an Old Fashioned that seemed to be mostly simple syrup and a slice of orange. There couldn't have been more than a half an ounce of bourbon in it...for $14. My cousin ordered tequila shots that were RIDICULOUSLY small. The last shot she ordered took forever to come, then was served in a CHIPPED glass with the server acknowledging that the glass was chipped, but never offering to have it remade. It was really weird. Then when our checks came, I asked if gratuity had already been charged. The server said 20% gratuity was added, but they (management) deducted past of their gratuity. It was her way of asking for additional gratuity. Just a really weird experience. I don't recommend grown folks waste their gas, time or dime at this lounge at all. read more

This is a Cute and clean tucked away spot. DJ was playing good music. The drinks were good. Food came out hot and fresh. The spinach dip was good the chips to go along with it were different and delicious. I had the chicken Alfredo, well seasoned, adequate sauce, nice portion. My coworkers and I go out 1x a month to new and old spots to have a great time and enjoy some good ambiance. We identified this place way in advance to arrive at the lounge with the staff saying no reservations were confirmed. I immediately search my email to show my correspondence between myself and them. The manger was nice and the staff in that section on duty was ok. There is a time frame of 2 hrs. Stools uncomfortable and not made for us juicy girls back there. Music was on point. Ok spot but not on my to go to list. The hookah services were nice nasty and they only give you a small amount that burns out in 20minutes for you to buy a refill. read more

Went for a bday celebration and they did not honor the birthday special! That put a damper on things but none the less we continued to try to have some fun. Although the kitchen closed at 10:30 PM and we put our order in well in before that it took almost an hour and a half for an order of Rasta pasta, spinach, dip, crabcakes, and a Caesar salad.. It took an hour for the server to finally come and say they were out of crab cakes .. Hookah was cheap but good luck getting someone to come refill/ bring new coals . We went to a birthday celebration here on a Monday evening. Being that it wasn't a weekend, there was no charge to reserve an area. The lounge has a very nice vibe. The outer perimeter of the lounge has separated booth areas which could be roped off like a VIP area. We were offered 2 adjacent booths for our party of 15. Our server Me-Me is the bomb! Drinks were on point! The food was very good! We all had different items. Everything was served hot and timely. The Lamb chops were outstanding. The jerk chicken spring rolls, wings & burgers were said to be real good by those who ordered them. I tasted the Rasta Pasta...(chefs kiss) The calamari were bite sized and (personally) I prefer them that way. They were flavorful and cooked well. So no complaints there! We were expecting a live DJ as we were told he starts at 8pm but he didn't show up. However, the music played was lit and we all danced and had a great time! The highlight of the night was the owner who came over and expressed his appreciation for choosing Swiggz for our gathering. He also brought over tequila shots for everyone in our party and had a toast with us. I would definitely recommend Swiggz. Parking is plentiful. I honestly can't say enough.
