Bendon stocks some great brands including Elle Macpherson Intimates, Bendon, Macpherson Men, Stella McCartney Intimates and more. There is an enormous amount of stock to work your way through so I recommend grabbing as much as you can and then working your way through your purchases. The sales assistants do their best in a very busy environment, they are really helpful but don't expect them to stick with you the whole time - they have to keep track of all the other customers too. The stock is discounted all year round so I recommend going there every couple of months to see what new stock they have moved in. When you're shopping at David Jones or Myer and looking at lingerie, keep in mind that many of those items may well end up at Bendon a few weeks or months later.

As a woman I have often gazed lovingly at gorgeous underwear from brands such as Elle McPherson, Fayreform and the ever impressive Pleasure State. I have then looked at the price tags and almost cried. But not at the Bendon Factory Shop. The prices here are so low that you almost want to give them more money. Pleasure State in particular can be up to $150 for a bra - for ONE BRA. At the Bendon Factory Shop? 20 bucks. Now we can all afford to feel (and look) smokin' hot in our knickers. Ladies, buy up!

As such, queues for changing rooms and suchlike can be formidable but if you're wise and avoid this place like the proverbial plague at weekends you can come away with more than a few bargains without too much hoopla. $10 bra sales and the like are commonplace and you can easily save up to 70% on some very saucy smalls. A quick caveat emptor: there's a reason that a lot of this stock is discounted with some odd - and overly kinky - designs and not the best range of sizes on offer. As such, do make sure you choose wisely to avoid mistakenly returning home with too small smalls or crotchless panties. That said, for eagle eyed lingerie lovers the Bendon Factory Shop is an absolute must visit.

They don't keep you waiting for a room or having to drape around dresses &/or shirts on your arm, & will help free your space so you can go about your shopping. Today I met Lahi (spelled uniquely but pronounced like Laura) who was tremendous w/ her patience & personal assistance. As I am on holiday, I was not familiar w/ the brand or the sizing, but she gave me a quick background on the brand & helped me choose a few sizes. After a while, we both had a laugh as she was selecting items based on UK Sizes while I was referring to US Sizes. No matter, we got it right, and when you are hunting for a new black dress, you want one that fits exactly right. The kind that gives you confidence when you walk into a room & want to command attention that is both subtle but unforgettable. I loved how she assisted me in navigating the different sizes, going back to their stockroom several times to help me find the right fit. As I used to work in retail, I appreciate someone who actually likes the clothes they are selling & can be a good balance of giving the customer both attention and space. Even if I had walked out & decided not to buy anything at the moment, I know she would have been equally pleasant and ready to help for my next visit. I was pleased to know this was a new location & that they were offering Sydney fashion for the locals & travelers alike. I am a big fan of Seafolly for the cut of their swimsuits- they aren't too skimpy, offer good coverage and don't lose their shape after a season. All their suits are mix and match too, meaning if you are different size up top to down below, you can but their pieces accordingly. My only criticism with seafolly is the price- the bathers here are really expensive and will set you back well over $150 for a two piece bathing suit, which is a lot by my standards. However, its worth it if you buy a classic style as if you take care of it, it will last years.

My love affair with Scally and Trombone first started back in year 11. I was buying jewellery for my formal and my mother and I stumbled across this little gem. We walked out with a bold silver collar and simple drop earrings, after having spent hours agonizing over our choices. Throughout the painful process the sales assistants were wonderful, offering great advice in regards to different pieces, as well as colour combinations to match my dress. Since then I always swing past if I'm on Brunswick Street. Their large range of elegant hats, fun jewellery designs and pleasant service make it a winner.
