I'd stay away from coming here too much for lunch, as you will sooner or later feel sick of eating the same selections to a point it will come out of your nose. If you are looking for lunch "take away", I'd rather suggest Vital Punkt right across the street (in front of the Stockerstrasse tram stop) for wraps, sandwiches, sushi, salads, hot foods and soups instead. It feels more fresh and is more tasty/less "processed". However, Vital Punkt sells out quickly, so this place is an "A-OK" back up for a quick one stop shop for food, fruit and other necessities. P & B Press and Books does a great job in having best sellers book wall, popular reading materials, few classics etc. In addition, they have a significant amount of magazines/ newspapers etc. They have some other small things for entertainment, cards and souvenirs as well if you need last minute things. I hate boarding with a ton of things in hand so this was a good opportunity to buy some reading material in the last part of my connecting flight. The prices were norm for an airport store. I really didn't know of any P&B stores from before so this was a refreshing experience specially as the only bookstore we have in the states is Barnes and Nobles. Being in an airport might be a challenging business but we noticed that it was pretty busy as travelers were browsing through books as they waited for their flights. 5 stars just for being a bookstore. Hopefully they continue to prosper in an increasingly digital world.

In fact, the overall experience here is good enough I'll probably hit this instead of the HB Migros on Sunday after-hike shopping detours. Yes, it's a little hectic on a Sunday, when most grocery stores are closed --- but an order of magnitude less than the HB Migros. Their bread isn't half bad either --- certainly at the fresher, crustier end of the Migros spectrum. (The Alnatura Migros in Höngg turns in a particularly lackluster bread selection, this Express easily surpasses that). I first stopped here for picnic supplies; I was impressed enough to do my weekend's shopping on the way back past. Definitely a big help on empty-fridge Sundays.

From what I understand, B&N recently moved to their new digs over near Seebach from Kreis 1. I don't know if their recent move has anything to do with the fact that the new HQ is poorly signed. I had to ask someone in the stairwell to point me in the right direction after marching from ground floor to first floor and back again in vain. So, on the first floor behind a door marked something having to do with film production one will find the main entry way to B and N's showroom. -sort of a hidden gem, really, but worth finding!
