On my phone text message requires Internet connection. Catch 22 probably backed by taxi industry. Went to the information booth at the airport to scan my boarding pass to get the access code. Connecting to Uber on the Internet on my phone. Had to find level 2 outside to find Uber, as no signage for ride sharing. 34 Swiss francs to travel 8 miles from airport to our hotel on old town Zurich. Taxi would have cost 70 Swiss francs, exact change only and cash only,no credit cards accepted. Gave driver a 20 Swiss franc tip. He reacted like he had won the lottery. Absolutely estatic!
