In a word - a vietnamese/sushi place in Charlottenburg with nice ambience and a huge aquarium with cool fish. Didn't really blow my mind but well prepared dishes with awesome avocado lassi! Extended version for the brave- we arrived here to enjoy a nice dinner because we were too lazy to cook, the place seemed rather romantic but maybe because the aquarium light is too bright and fluorescenty it kinda damages the ambience. Not sure if it's because I was tired but the menu was a bit messy to me, it was not divided right and not too many options, nothing looked too interesting, it took me a few minutes to decide what I want. The starters however looked very interesting, just wasn't hungry enough We went for curry and peanut sauce dishes, both with tofu. The food was served rather quick and it was well prepared, the sauce was a bit watery but it tasted good, a lot of veggies (which I have to my friend) and a lot of tofu- the dish was in a decent size. What did surprise me a lot was the avocado lassi, I was curious but never brave to order one myself - and my friend did, this is really good! You should give it a try :) The aquarium really extends your stay, we just realized we were staring at it and not eating hahaha So make sure you chew every now and then! read more

I really enjoyed my lunch here. The lunch specials are great, for around €5-6 EUR ... nice portions, fresh herbs/salad... delicious. I ate outside, as it was one of the first warmer, sunnier days of Spring in Berlin and I enjoyed every bite (despite the noisiness of passing cars...but hey, that's the Kantstraße). The green tea, served in a personal teapot, was soothing, as well. The real highlight for me though, was the DELICIOUSLY fresh salmon-skin hand roll I ordered "on the side" (although I was already stuffed from the main dish). It was very fresh, generously portioned, and the presentation was spot on... It looked the way a hand roll should always look like: a beautiful bouquet of aromatic flowers. Heaven. I will definitely be back to try their sushi...and if it's as good as my handroll was that day, I will up this review by another star. When it was time to pay my bill, I had to go in the restaurant to use my credit card at the register (I guess they don't have the portable devices yet?). But I was happy to go in, because the restaurant is really pretty...and I can imagine it being a really cozy, romantic date-night spot. The furniture is all cream-colored leather and directly in the center of the restaurant is a gorgeous and crystal-clean aquarium of exotic fish, which emanates a bit of an electric blue light around it... so pretty, refreshing and classy. If you're near the Wilmersdorfer Straße and have a hankering for some nice, fresh asian food in a slightly more upscale location (yet still decently priced.... at least the afternoon specials...lol)- then this is your place. I have no complaints about the food -- it's not expensive, with good portions, and it's tasty. It's not mind-blowing but I enjoyed my meal. For me, the three stars comes more from the environment. Being seated near the door during winter was pretty uncomfortable, as people were constantly coming in and out, and so it was basically always cold. Also, this is the kind of restaurant where the expectation is that you order and eat quickly and leave. It could be a good sign -- they have a lot of business, people really like it, they're almost always full. But don't have any expectations to linger for drinks or conversation. read more

Delicious food!! Extremely tasty sushi rolls of all kinds. Big choice of sushi sets. Didn't try other dishes but plum wine and jasmin tea are very good as well. Vietnamese and Sushi... another one of those fusion places - but this one was actually pretty good. Nice surroundings with a huge fish tank inside. Very trendy/cool and extremely busy (Sat evening). I came here the day before my birthday to have a meal. So, came in, was seated at one of the 2 then available tables. Mintes after reading thr menu, a large, angry looking spider descended from above, looking to make a new home of my hair. I, being an active arachnaphobic, shall we say, did not agree. After reviewing the selection of cheap red wines, i decided on a simple maki for.starters, to be followed by ente kross, or crispy duck. Needless to say everything came in time. Although the sushi stank of less than fresh salmon, and the noodles looked more from a 10 cent value pack, the duck was in order. In conclusion, i am less than satisfied with my dining experience. I rate.this.place 2 of 5, because they have an excelent aquatium full of ocean life. That was the only real plus. read more
