BEWARE Do not ever get any procedures done here unless you wish to be scarred permanently and infected!!! I went in 1 week after mole removal - they are puckered and a hole!!!! Was told to keep it covered 1 more week given a script for antibiotics and no surprises a big infection when removing the plaster. 3 weeks later badly infected. 1 raised scar tissue and another inflamed. Saw a doctor today at a hospital who gave me more antibiotics, steroid cream and a referral to get either cortisone injections or it re cut and re stitched by someone who isnt a butcher & knows what theyre doing. I'm a bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks who likes breaking the rules. Live in Australia? Meant to get a skin cancer check every 12 months? Psh! What does medical science even know. I'm gonna wait 'til I'm middle-aged until I get my first check. And I did. *chest bump* Looked online, found this place, got a skin test for free. I don't know what is meant to happen at these things given my lack of experience, and it didn't seem hugely comprehensive, but then, maybe that's par for the course. And my doctor was a straight up dude, he was an Asian guy but also part philosopher. During the course of our chat we encouraged me to travel more, wear long sleeve shirts, learn languages, and quizzed me on my heritage and the places I'd been and what I'd learnt there. Okay after I had my blood test, I called to get my results and they said I had to come in for a consultation to discuss. I came in and they said they hadn't charged me last time and it was $40 and this one should be $40 to discuss my result. I had gotten an inquiry form from my health insurance and asked the doctor to fill it out. He basically told me everything was fine, filled out the form and then charge me $60! $100 + $300 for the blood test, wtf? What a rip off! Not coming back here! read more

Recently used this medical centre because it claimed (all over its website) that it BULK BILLS! However, I was charged $30 for a quick consultation (when I questioned this the receptionist dismissively told me it's a consultation fee - different from bulk billing??) The (female) doctor I was assigned also had no people skills; she was uncommunicative, difficult to understand, dismissive when I asked her a simple question, and couldn't have made me feel more uncomfortable. A little medical centre in the CBD, makes it easy for a quick consult. I had my skin checked, the Dr I went to (forgotten name) was really professional, he was easy to talk to and made me feel very comfortable in a potentially uncomfortable situation (I had my colourful underwear on). He explained risks of not getting my skin checked and gave me recommendations for sunscreens brands. He seemed to care, which is important to me. The waiting time was lacking good reading material and and ambient noises, but overall a decent experience. read more

"That's too many questions for one consultation." is what I was told. If I could give this place no stars I would. One of the doctors here had a complete disregard for the health and safety of her patient. A Doctor by the name of Yan Zhang was rude and unprofessional to me throughout the whole consultation. I was seen 15 minutes late (which was not an issue as I understand doctors can run behind sometimes). But I also had several inquiries I wanted to be answered and towards the second or third question she told me "that's too many questions for one consultation." She then went on to perform an examination on me and despite me having put latex as an allergy on my initial consultation form, she still put on latex gloves. I am severely allergic to latex and get hives, swelling, and redness in the area of contact within minutes. I told her I was allergic to latex and her reply to me was "I'm not going to touch you with them. I'm putting them on to protect myself." Which isn't true because I have had the same examination in the past and it has required the doctor to touch me. I was in no way suggesting she perform the examination without gloves. I pointed out the nitrile gloves to her. She made a face and reluctantly goes to change them. I refused to let her examine me after that and left. When I told her I was leaving because her attitude was making me feel uncomfortable, her response was "Okay." She completely dismissed my concerns for my own allergies when they were brought up to her. read more

I was a new to this clinic, I went in for a skin check. I saw Dr James Lam . I didn't wait str8 in comfortable and very friendly . Found a spot I was suspicious about rescheduled to have it cut out . On my next appointment once again no waiting Dr cut the nasty little thing out no pain what so ever stitched up and now time to wait and get the results and heal. A very nice Doctor Easy to talk to . I felt very comfortable . I certainly will see this Doctor again . The front desk staff also very friendly . I have seen my fair share of Doctors working in the medical field many years ago. Avoid this practice, the rumours are true. Matt is 200% correct. I went in to see Dr. Allison Ward for a pap smear. She strongly advised me to come back in a week's time for the results, so of course I made the appointment a week from the date. Upon arrival of my appointment, the staff did not say anything and I waited in purgatory aka the waiting room. When it was my turn, the Doctor simply looked at me and said 'We don't have your results yet. We rang them yesterday and they advised that there would be a delay. Please come back next week to discuss your results'. She just looked at me like she was dismissing me. That was it, no apologies or any purpose for my second visit. Umm so if they knew I was coming in for the results only and they had called to follow up with the lab, where was my courtesy call to reschedule the appointment? I really had no choice but to let that slide since they had my results. The following week, I came back. I found myself back at purgatory aka the waiting room. I was left waiting an hour after my scheduled appointment. Upon my turn, Dr Ward didn't really acknowledge my presence. She just said 'Results are fine' then looked at me as though questioning why I hadn't left yet. After all the stuff arounds and the waiting, she gave me two minutes of her time (I kid you not, I timed it). I asked her if there was anything further, she said no and just looked at me expecting me to vanish into thin air. I brought up the delay and what happened on my second appointment. Yep, you guessed it right! Still no apology, simply said 'Okay' and just looked at me as though questioning why I was still there at the 3 minute mark. What a joke. Never again! I would rather travel out of my way than see this quack practice for the sake of convenience. read more

This place has changed compare to my previous visits. Good facilities, attentive reception, good doctors. They bulk bill mostly except for pap smear. Hardly any wait... would recommend to those wanting good, no-nonsense and professional care. read more
