After successfully completing the initial virtual interview, I was contacted by the Director of Recruitment to schedule a phone interview. However, the scheduled interview call was missed entirely, and after waiting, I ultimately had to locate and call the office myself. During the conversation, there appeared to be confusion regarding my candidacy and interview status. Despite this, the discussion itself went well, and I was informed that I would likely move forward to the next stage involving a teaching demonstration with faculty the following week. After receiving no follow-up communication regarding scheduling, I sent a polite reminder requesting the date and time so I could prepare accordingly. I later received a rejection email without any further discussion. I fully understand that schools may choose other candidates, and I respect that process. However, the scheduling issues, communication delays, and overall coordination of the interview experience felt disorganized and inconsistent with the professional image the institution presents publicly.

The administration and teachers made his transition very smooth. Teachers reward positive behavior and my son really adapted well, taking great pride in the improvements he made. The classical education model brooks no nonsense (please see the top ratings this school has earned) but it's certainly not austere in anyway. The kiddos love the school and love learned. And the teachers really make learning come alive. My son gets in the car bouncing up and down excited to share what he's learned of ancient history and loves testing me on the material! Literature/reading is augmented with a new special book every month that culminates in a fun event with snacks, crafts and enrichment activities based on the book. The children study CHESS in school twice a week from a grandmaster. This instructor's competence and love of the game earned him a place in my child's heart and in mine. And, oh my word, if his main teacher isn't the sweetest, kindest, most beautiful, most patient person I've ever met .... In my experience children rise to the level of the expectations set for them. This is especially true in the supportive environment at True North.

Professor Serna tutored my daughter in Algebra 1 Honors. He is very soft & well spoken which made it easy to understand. Made an appt. Got there and had a very short 2 min wait. There were no interruptions, his office is small and quaint, perfect environment with no distractions. My daughter left feeling confident, understanding the formulas and equations that Mr. Serna helped her with.

Yes, the small hands on approach is definitely good for children with disabilities/developmental issues, however if you take a child without these difficulties and then put them into a regular school (public schools) your kids gonna have a lot of problems. The schools probably changed since my time attending, sure, however while I was there, it was even unsafe for kids with issues. An example of this would be with my cousin who also attended at the same time as me, who was autistic and low support needs. He was a victim of bullying, which got the a point where a student broke his arm. As for me, I didn't have these sorts of issues (I have ADHD but that's never effected my learning so I don't count it) and after I left The Biltmore, I was introduced to many different learning tools such as iready, IXL, ect. However, The Biltmore never taught me how to use these programs, and the larger classes of public schools meant that my teachers rarely offered me help with using these programs, leaving me to teach myself which made me struggle at the beginning of my education in public schools. To any parents thinking of sending your children here; DO NOT. DONT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!!!!! As a former student, I'm begging you not to send your kids here, it was genuinely one of the worst experiences of my life.

They adore him and that makes my heart so happy. It truly is a blessing when you can leave your child at school every day and never have to worry. All of his teachers have been a blessing! My child did not go to Preschool and had a very rough start in her learning process, she went to a…read morecharter school that did not help her at all, and to 2 public schools during the testing process that although they tried to "help her" in paper, but the method was not effective in reality. she qualified for the McKay scholarship and after much research into schools in the area west dade addressed all my concerns. they caters to the individual's IEP's (not just one or two hours a day or a week), small classrooms student to teacher ratios, close to home, affordability, and the list goes on about this A++ school. my daughter has been able to catch up to her grade level, and i couldn't be happier. she definitely has a bright future here. this school is like an extension of our family life. i now have a 3 year old that is also attending the day care and she is getting ahead on her pre school education. i couldn't be happier. the best thing is that the school goes from K-12 so they will not have to readjust to changing school over time.

Besides math, they also have a prized system where you complete pages and get currency in return that you may use to buy whatever you want. Mathnasium has helped me in math in significant ways. Before I joined Mathnasium, I was who you could call, "okay" at math. After I joined, I advanced over 2 grades above my average.
