The only thing I always wished was that the massage of my legs and feet lasted longer. I had my first pedicure at Safari today and was very pleased. But what won me over was the lengthy wonderful massage. I even asked if this was a common practice or if she was possibly done earlier then expected and had extra time to fill and she said no this is how all pedicures are done that they all allot that much time for the massage! Plus they offer a quick but wonderful hand massage at the very end.....I definitely will be going back :)

The pedicure room is equipped with massage chairs and jet foot tubs. Although the pedicures are good, I have had better ones at places that do not have the bells and whistles for equipment. With that said, the staff is friendly and is makes you feel comfortable. The interior is nicely designed. Fresh, contemporary and inviting.

My spa that i was very particle to had shut down recently and the only other spa that sells the skin care i use ( environ) was this spa. I had run out of my face wash 2 months ago and called Janet and janes to see if they had it in stock, they didn't. so the receptionist said to leave my name and number and Janet would call me back and make an order. I had called every week and Janet never called me back nor was there an order made my face wash was STILL sold out. how do you run a business if you don't make stock orders or call customers back who need product? If there is only one person in charge of stock orders would you not replenish it? My old spa would have sold out products to me within three days, and lucky for me i found someone in red deer who sells environ as of today and again will the evnviron product to me within three days of ordering. So for this reason and this reason only i will never go to janet and janes media spa for any of my needs which is a real shame. before my last spa shut down i got everything done there, from my waxes, facials any media spa needs my jane iredale cosmetics laser hair removal etc. i am more than happy to drive to red deer than give that place any time of day. thank you Janet and janes, i'll go elsewhere.

Here is the story; My friend and I booked in for two Spa manicures, the ladies who took care of us were wonderful! We paid extra to get Gel polish. The day after (today) My nail polish started to fall off. Not peel in bits.. I was loosing whole nails. Woke up with one gone, then lost another while doing laundry. Soon I was missing a pinkey. I called and explained what was happening - she said she would put a free services on my account. That was indeed the typical correction I expected. I explained to her that I don't live in Red Deer and the only reason we got it done there was because it is located between my friend and I. I am moving to Hinton, Alberta so we wanted to do something together. (My friend was the one who bought the gift card for us) I explained my situation to the Assistant Manager, Heather. And requested that the free service be given to my friend because I was not going to be able to use it and my friend lives in Lacombe and is in Red Deer often. She told me she couldn't give it to my friend because her nails were fine. So I explained again that I wasn't going to be able to use it. She repeated that the service had to go on my account and my friend could not use it. I was surprised by the repetition of her answer even though she knew I wasn't going to be able to use it. I didn't understand the reasoning behind the fact that I could not gift this service to my friend. (WHO PAID FOR ALL OF IT IN THE FIRST PLACE) Finally I asked if she was the manager, she informed me that she was in fact the assistant manager - she then proceeded to tell me that she would look into it and call me back tomorrow. Conclusion; Customer service is not top priority after you have gotten a service and it wasn't completely satisfactory. I have screenshot of the conversation between my friend and I - I send her pictures of my missing nails in WhatsApp before I even decided to call. I own a marketing agency - and one thing I cannot stand is poor customer service.
