Dr. Zimmer knows what he's doing. I started going when I had neck and arm pain and couldn't turn my head enough to check traffic while driving. Dr. Zimmer showed me my xrays and what was happening and put me on a program that helped reverse years of damage and neglect. He also discovered a hip problem that I didn't mention just by going through normal adjustments. Now I can drive long range without excruciating hip and knee pain too. He's also helped my wife get rid of back and shoulder pain she experienced for decades. The office is incredibly efficient with appointments starting on time and out the door in usually 15 minutes. This place is very small and claustrophobic. Ryan Zimmer is the only chiropractor there working on multiple people. He does 5 second adjustments and moves on to the next customer. For 5 seconds he charges $55 among other charges for X rays, Accupuncture etc. He will take new customers into a room and show them their X rays and tell them they need adjustments for the rest of their lives (only because he wants to keep charging them or their insurance money). He will take money from you as well as charge your insurance on a weekly basis. I think that is insurance fraud because you already paid him $1000's up front for a one to three month adjustment plan. Beware and find a reputable chiropractor who will actually take time to adjust you, talk to you and give you time as a patient. Don't go to a place where they adjust you for 5 seconds and say goodbye. This proves that Ryan Zimmer does not care about his patients, but only cares about their pockets $$$. read more

I wasn't going to write a review yet because I haven't really made up my mind yet if I like this place or not. First impressions mean a lot to me and if I left it at that I wouldn't have even given this place one star. But, the more I go, the better my experience. I have a tendency to question a lot of doctors, especially ones with methods I may not really agree with. Synergy Chiropractic is a health vitality center, which means that not only do they provide chiropractic care and treatment but also nutritions, acupuncture, weight loss information and other tips on how to make a person feel "back to normal." In the initial consultation, I felt like I was being quizzed and a little brainwashed into them making me think they way they think and see their way of thinking as the only right way instead of them taking the time to explain their theories and then proving their theory over time as I actually see and feel the results. To tell the truth, I believe a chiropractor should only be a chiropractor. Don't act like you are a nutritionists or a weight loss consultant when in reality, your a doctor of chiropractic. Inside the office there are displays of bottles and bottles of different vitamins, supplements, protein shakes and more. All I could think about is, "how much are they going to try to get out of me?" I'm still waiting on that. Anyway, I have Lupus which has caused years of low back, hip, knee, arm, and foot pain. I have trouble with headaches, hand pain - especially my fingers. I've tried rounds and rounds of physical therapy, water therapy, injections, medication, medical message, alternative medicine and treatments, to no avail. So, to say that chiropractic treatment was my last resort- I'm not joking. All in all, I've been going there for about three weeks and really have only experienced a little bit of pain relief. Although, Zimmer did say that it would take about 6 weeks for me to feel better. I'm going three times a week, which is also putting a damper on the old pocket book to where I might have to re-examine my options. Thankfully, the office does run the visits through my health insurance, leaving me to pay for the co-pays each visit. The hours are flexible, allowing me to visit before or after work with ease. The appointments are usually around 15 minutes - so even making a lunchtime appointment is doable if working near the office. All-in-all, as of right now, I would say it's a fair place to go. read more

I have gone to Dr. Zimmer at Synergy for many years. He has kept me able to play golf and tennis. I was all bent and out of whack when I started there. One shoulder was much higher than the other. Dr. Zimmer has straightened out my body. Now I go every 2 weeks or so and he keeps me tweaked. Everyone who works there are friendly and really care about their patients. read more

Went here one time. After waiting for over 30 minutes after my appointment I was put in a room where the chiropractor used a rubber band to explain to me how my neck works only to then tell me he wants me to do an X-ray on my spine before adjusting. I share with him that I'm not interested in an X-ray as my neck feels just fine, I'm perfectly healthy and would just like to be adjusted. He informs me that he won't adjust me unless I take the X-ray. Joke. So, I waited over 30 minutes past my appointment to be told I can't receive treatment unless I get an X-ray. The doctor then asks me if it is an issue with my insurance and me not wanting to pay. Had nothing to do with my insurance and I'm perfectly capable of paying if it was. The issue is I sat in your office waiting for my appointment only to be told I need to have X-rays before you adjust me. Unless you want to go somewhere where they X-ray you and convince you to come in multiple times for "rehab" I would look elsewhere. I'm sure there are some folks that could use this but for those looking for a simple adjustment, this isn't your place. read more
