First I took my pc here because I was getting a skipping when gaming, like a 1 or 2 second pause. They had it about a week and when I got it back it wasn't fixed. I figured it might be something with the ssd. I bought a new ssd and other components and had them install everything. First off, the wiring was really sloppy. Second, random things that I never had an issue with became an issue after getting it back like when I don't touch the mouse and the pc goes into sleep mode, it won't wake back up. I have to long press the power button and enter through bios everytime. Also, I can't type in the windows search bar, or Netflix search bar or a few others. Idk what's up with that, may be unrelated. My computer had a problem with its fan. They took a look and explained what was wrong. Then explained the options for it and seeing if they could repair it first before replacing. They were able to repair and fix it up as good as new. They even tested it out in front of me to show me how the fan is doing. Great service would use them again. read more

After the apple store lied to me and tried to charge me over $1000 for a new logic board to fix a computer, MacDaddy found that the issue was actually the hard drive and fixed it with no problem. My nephew damaged the HDMI port on his PlayStation 4 about a month ago and he came to me in a panic because he was no longer able to play Fortnite every minute of his free time at that point. I told him to give me the console and that I would have it fixed for him within 2 weeks. Little did he know that I was taking it to Sysquick for repairs, meaning it would be fixed much sooner than expected at a very affordable price! I really wish I could write this guy a good review. He seems honest enough and others have had good experiences with him. I took my computer to him back in 2012 to replace a simple airport card. No issues, it was an easy fix. This time however, I was having a multitude of issues. He decided to replace the hard drive, charging me $325. Fair. Then it was having the same issues. He said we could "try" replacing the RAM. Another $75. Then it was having the same issues. He said we could "try" replacing the logic board. I think there are tests you could run to determine what the exact issue is? I took it to the IT Center at College Park and they said the RAM and hard drive were fine. So I drove all the way back to Bel Air to get my money back and old hardware put back in. He didn't refund the cost of the hard drive, so I took a $50 of $75 loss. In the end I shipped it off to Apple so they could fix whatever is wrong with it for a flat rate of about $300. When I got the computer back they had replaced a lot of things- the logic board, the RAM, the optical display, etc. You want to know the one thing they didn't replace? The hard drive. It was perfectly fine. Save your money and go to someone more thorough. read more

Never go to the Apple Store for repairs again. Just come here. The guys at this place are friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. I came in with a laptop that wouldn't turn on. The Apple Store had told me it would cost $500 and take 3 days or more to fix. Christian took one look at it, pressed a few buttons, and it turned on. I was able to back up data I thought I had lost and my computer is working again. And at the end of the day, they didn't charge me a dime. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. These guys are awesome! I had a Japanese PS3 that was shutting off by itself after about 10 seconds of being turned on continually. I was worried I was going to be out of luck and after talking with Sony, they essentially told me to just buy a PS4 or a new PS3. I thought I was going to lose all my data and be out a bucket of cash. I called SysQuick and they immediately knew what was wrong with it. I brought it over within an hour and within 2 days it was back and running great with no problems. Price for the repair was $50. Pretty cheap considering a full disassemble, repair, and cleaning. I'd recommend them to anyone who needs work on a console. read more

Juan and Junior are life savers! On 2 accounts they have saved my ass and saved me money on repairs for my MacBook Pro. First occasion my computer totally died for no apparent reason. I took it to mac daddy right away, turns out a spill that happened months ago killed my logic board and top case. They didn't have parts in stock for a 17" so they suggested going to apple to save me time. Being well aware that apple would erase my drive and also charge me $1000 for a spill (not under warranty). They swapped my drive for a blank they had, cleaned the inside and sure enough apple didn't see any signs of a spill and I got everything fixed for only $100 by apple. Took my laptop back to mac daddy, they re-installed my hard drive and didn't charge me anything for their help! Also, recently I had a hard drive failure they managed to salvage most of my data, install a new 1tb drive. I returned with questions for more of my data to be recovered and they were very helpful and supportive. They managed to squeeze the last bit of of what was left on my drive and didn't even charge me the full data recovery fee since I always come to them first! These guys are awesome! Mac Daddy is the best place to take your Apple computer for maintenance and service. Juan and his team are very experienced, professional, and up front about the cost of repairs. They have excellent customer service and they go above and beyond for their customers. I would highly recommend taking your computer here instead of directly to the Apple store. Juan and his team treat you like a person and not just the next number in line. The backlight on my 5 year old Macbook went out randomly and I had no idea what to do. After an unsuccessful trip to the Apple store, I decided to call Mac Daddy. I spoke to Juan and he explained in detail the 3 issues that could be causing the dim screen and the cost of possible repairs. After dropping my computer off on Thursday afternoon, I received a detailed diagnostic report the next morning, and I gave them the go-ahead with the repairs. My computer was ready on Saturday morning!! I couldn't believe how fast the turn around time was, considering the Apple store told me it would be at least 5 to 7 days just to send it out. When I went to pick up my computer, he explained everything that was done and that he had also upgraded my keyboard and track pad for next to nothing. I was elated because the clicker on my track pad was getting stuck pretty regularly and I completely forgot to mention it when I dropped off my computer. Juan also mentioned other things to watch out for as my computer gets older and gave me advice on updating the operating system. I can't thank them enough for helping me get my computer back to work! I needed a cheap laptop to hold me over while my usual laptop was temporarily out of commission. I called and was told they had a few old machines for $50. When I got there, they had exactly what I wanted, and they took the time to make sure the open source software I needed would load on the machine I chose. They were really friendly and helpful.
