I wanted to update my review now that we have been working with System Six for a over 4 months. I have been very happy with their business. They have revamped our whole accounting system into practices that are accurate and dependable. In addition they have been working with me to be creative with how we manage our books. The best part about working with SystemSix is that they are constantly staying ahead of the times in technology. I just recently had a baby and want to be able to work from home as much as possible. They have made it so I don't need to go into the office to look over our books, we have phone appts. in my home and I am able to view our books via cloud technology. I love that I am able to do my job well, on the go, in my home and spend as little time as possible in the office. I run a small online business and started using System Six for our bookkeeping about a month ago. We don't have a lot bills and so I didn't think we needed to outsource our bookkeeping - I figured we would be fine by doing it in-house. I somewhat skeptically went with System Six, but have been incredibly glad we did so. Other reviews have mentioned the consistency, accuracy and so on of System Six which is true and useful, but for our company the real sweet spot is the analysis and strategy behind the bookkeeping. Jeremy and his team have used the numbers to really help identify pain points in our company. For example, our numbers show that we have a high amount of tech support being done by project managers, who are rather expensive to hire. By hiring cheaper dedicated tech support, we can free up our more expensive project managers to do more skilled roles and take on more clients with less labor cost. Sure, we could have hired a CPA to do our books but the strategic bookkeeping and analysis that System Six provided was a gamechanger. read more

I went in today to speak with Jeremy, the owner of System Six in hopes that either he or another member of his team could help me better organize my books. After introducing me to his team we went to his private office to discuss my goals. He started right out by telling me to turn on my laptop, and in no time my problems were being resolved. This, however, seems to be fairly common place for book keeping service. Where System Six really stood out was that as they were resolving my technical issues, Jeremy was also teaching me about the hows and whys of what he was doing, allowing me the time to take notes so as to know better how to do this myself. Furthermore he asked me bigger picture questions about my company and spent a considerable amount of time coaching me in areas where I clearly needed help. I left my meeting with a tidy quickbooks file, a list of notes on 'how to' items for moving forward, and several recommendations on people to talk to and exercises that I should do as homework to get me to the next step in my professional career. I struggled trying to find someone to help me with the numbers when I started my business. I went through several people who just didn't understand what I needed and then I found System Six. System Six has been helping me for a few years now. I wanted to do my own bookkeeping but didn't really know how.
