Watzke is a better choice than the numerous tourist traps just on the other side of the bridge in…read moreold town. The atmosphere is the best feature; fun and a bit loud. They ring that giant bell periodically and have live music. Still, make no mistake, it's a restaurant for tourists. We sat for lunch and no reservations were required. The beer was good as was the food. You're saving about 5 Euro at Watzke per person by crossing the river for revert same experience you would have had adjacent to the replica buildings in old town. Make the wise choice.
