I have received some as gifts but had never visited the store itself until now. IMO this is a unique place in Sweden, or anywhere. There are two sewing machines right in the store, and everything is made in Sweden. The designs are delightful and the fabrics are workmanship are quality. Also, I was pleasantly surprised at the prices! The dollar is strong right now and these items were much less than I thought they would be. This store may be small but it seems to have the best curated selection of handcrafted Swedish goods compared to others. It does mean one may have to look up and down in addition to sideways as yours truly did in order to find something :) I was about to walk out with something small when I saw a very nice necklace for my wife just below my field of vision in the showcase at the checkout. It's next door to Brioche cafe and a cute little flower store so you can make a stop in at all three on your next visit here! I don't think I would come all the way to Alvik just to visit this store though. It is a bit pricey and there's not enough stock inside to really make it a destination. I like the look of the place and the general type of items they carry. I would just need a lot more to want to come back. To carry furniture and home goods, I think your store should be much bigger in size. I really would have liked to see a lot more inside the place even if it stays small and where it is right now. Currently, it just feels like a half empty "odds and ends" kinda joint. A very expensive one at that. I can't justify buying a throw pillow for 800 kronor unless it's going to make me dinner and tuck me in at night.

I decided to try their traditional meatballs dish. It came with 8 small sized meatballs in gravy with mashed potatoes, green peas and lingonberry sauce. I also added a lingonberry drink and cinnamon roll. The meal was very good and the cheapest I had in Sweden. There was seating towards the back and also in the courtyard of the mall. It seems that many workers and shoppers come here for lunch. It was busy and crowded even though I was there before lunch time.
