Food always hot, quick service and never had a problem with getting my order correct. Number 1 go to for fast food. Some many options to choose from.

Ribs, french fries, and a piece of bread. The pepper Cheaneys were mine.

I ordered this had it delivered by Uber eats everything was fine. I just had to heat it up a little bit which is to be expected on a very cold day like today. Look at the picture. The stuff is great.

It's was a late evening but wanted to still eat dinner. We found this place near by our hotel as it was still open and it stayed open until 11pm! They have their own private parking as it had a drive through. We decided to dine in. The place was clean and they have a nice size menu. We decided to order some gyros. The guy at the register was friendly and told us their combo meals as well as dinner plates. I got the gyros plate and paid extra for pita bread ComEd with fries Hubby got a gyro sandwich and fried mushrooms and beer battered fried onion rings. The place was clean snd busy. There was a large flat screen tv showing espn. When we sat in our booth by the window our meal was ready that wasn't quick! The meat was fresh hot and juicy. The pits bread was flat grilled as the edges was golden and crispy but soft inside. The gyro has fresh sliced tomatoes chunks of feta and seasoned white raw onions. Comes with tazikki cucumber dip. The fries were thinner cut fries was good, fried mushrooms were hot and crispy, the fried onion rings was beer battered and it was a bit sweet. They give you plenty of food for your order. I was a couple of people ordered their ribs which looks tasty. Overall, we like this place we would be back if we're in the area!

Because my order is wrong and it's their fault. It's called accountability. I will never order this again from this restaurant. Or anything from this restaurant again based on the way that they didn't make it right. I even went so far to call back a second time and got excuses as to why they include onion, tomato and lettuce in an order that is excluded on tomato, onion, and lettuce. Onion makes me sick and everything had an onion flavor to it so I spent $20 at Grubhub to not have dinner and when I tried to explain that to the manager, she said well so many people get upset because it says that it comes with that. So I told her I said that's fine. I told her that I'm got these things going on and it's not her fault the Grubhub delivery driver isn't her fault, but the reason that the order was wrong on several different levels, not cut in half no mail on the sandwich not extra pickles not extra napkins, not extra salt, etc. etc. and everything tasted like onions so of course I don't wanna eat it and I got excuses so I told her I won't use her restaurant again and she said OK. I would recommend that she don't go there because they don't fix things when they screw them up. I have no intention of ordering or going to that restaurant ever again. And it's funny because my nephew used to work there and I used to love the place. Well I guess I'm done with it.

I've had Cafe Navarre, an upscale restaurant in South Bend, for a while now so I jumped at the…read moreopportunity to finally come here for a carry-out lunch during the city's summer Restaurant Week 2026! I was short on time and money and felt a wee bit embarrassed to pick up my fancy 2-course lunch in a ratty t-shirt and jeans, but I was brave and strong and got through it the shame. I would like to dine-in here one day, looking nice and spiffy, to fully enjoy the vibes and have a nice date night with my honey. Finding a parking spot was tricky and annoying, even on a weekday, so be advised of that. So I can't speak too much on service with this visit nor how the drinks were (alcohol menu looks pretty nice), but I can talk about the food! So with the $19 restaurant week promotion, I could choose from a list of 5 starters and a list of 5 mains. I got the signature Navarre salad without the gorgonzola cheese and the white basalmic dressing on the side as my starter and the Waldorf chicken salad croissant with potato chips as my main. Chicken salad is a favorite of mine but I HATE when it is goopy and mushy. Gotta have that texture! So the to-go bag was quite light when I picked it up so my fat butt was worried I had paid twenty bucks for two bites of food. Nope! There was a decent amount of food inside. Let's start with the Navarre salad. Normally, this retails for $8. The produce was fresh and the candied walnuts were incredible. I do wish there were more green apples on it though. 8/10. Next, I gotta give a 10/10 to the fabulous potato chips. These were something special. Oh jeez, give me a whole bag of these tasty crispy slices of potatoes! Lastly, I gotta give only 7/10 to the chicken salad croissant. This originally sells for $17. Not a bad score at all, but yeah, this chicken salad was a bit too goopy for me. It tasted flavorful though and the locally-made croissant was great! Overall, I give Cafe Navarre 4.5 stars. I'm going to convince my boyfriend to take me here one day for a nice dinner date so we can try so fancier items on the menu! (But not too fancy - I don't want us blowing a paycheck on some $65 steak! I am a practical bougie lady!)

Shortly after we received our waters, the manager came by and offered us a full booth, which was great. We had impeccable service from a very knowledgable server who was extremely attentive. Decor is tasteful and there appeared to be seating on the second floor. Super cute located in an old bank building. Really enjoyed our evening at Cafe Navarre.

My boyfriend and I came here for Sunday brunch in early May 2025 for a romantic date while I was visiting South Bend. Our service was spectacular and our brunch was delicious and expertly made. I did notice that there weren't a lot of people also dining there, just a dozen or so other patrons during our time there. It wasn't the best brunch food I have ever had, but the potatoes were fabulous! My omelet was pretty good too, but I am an omelet fanatic. The side of fruit my bf and I each got were fresh and generous as well. My bf got the quiche and was pleased with the portion and taste. I hope the staff are able to find employment somewhere else soon and that the talented chefs continue to make good food at another place. RIP Tippecanoe Place Restaurant!!

Fast forward 50 (okay, maybe more like 60"ish") years, I returned. My out-of-town family members and I made an effort to visit this restaurant for lunch. The site is beautiful and has a lot of South Bend history described in the pictures on the walls. You are welcome to walk through the three stories to see the fantastic architecture. We ordered chicken sandwiches, chicken salads and I had an excellent chicken marsala. Why not five stars? The chicken on the salads and the sandwiches were overcooked and very dry. The chef overlooked the chicken on one salad but, once it arrived, again, it was overcooked. The service was good for as busy as she was, but the restaurant was definitely understaffed. The prices were a little high, but I think this is the new normal. All things considered, I would return just for the chicken marsala, it was that good.

The photos looked incredible, and the stellar reviews confirmed it wasn't just good lighting. I was sold--even if Waze had other ideas! After my GPS took me on a scenic tour of South Bend, I almost gave up. I called the restaurant, and the staff graciously guided me in. From the outside, the brick building looks like a standard office, but once you step inside, you realize you've stumbled upon a total hidden gem. It feels like a beautiful secret. Upon entering, the entire staff welcomed me so warmly that I felt like I was catching up with old friends. I walked past the elegant bar and chose a seat in the dining room. The ambiance is romantic, relaxing, beautifully decorated, and quaint--yet completely comfortable if you are dining alone. I opted for the tasting menu, which is served as a total surprise. For a true foodie, this is pure heaven. I didn't dislike a single dish. In fact, each plate brought so much joy that I caught myself closing my eyes just to savor the flavors and the atmosphere. As I told the staff on my way out: "The food was so good, it makes you want to cry!" (Happy tears, of course!). If you're a local who hasn't been, GO. If you're traveling for work, GO. If you have a special occasion, GO. Life is short--take the road trip to South Bend just for Roselily. The menu changes so I'll be back every chance I get! My only actual complaint? The owner wasn't there for me to beg him to open a second location in Lexington, KY!
