What a terrible experience. We essentially received a shoddy amateur tile job for a premium price. The pride and quality in the workmanship was basically non existent. The result of the wall tile backsplash application in the kitchen was laid out crooked / uneven with incongruous gaps - some wider, and some almost non existent to fill with grout. After we pointed it out, he refused to fix / correct the mess he created, and he adamantly blamed it on the tile. For someone who claims to have years of experience, it was an unacceptable and lame excuse and a very poor example of his 'ability'. We had no choice but to fire him and finish the job ourselves. It's yet another huge disappointment and inconvenience we've had to put up with in our continued home renovation journey.
