Something that you should know about Mark--he will explain in detail the type of 'construction', if you will, that was used and why it works. This man is PASSIONATE about his craft. The chair needed new bearings, new casters, and a couple of wood covers at the base of the chair. I got the chair back today. It swivels and is complete once again. The entire chair was oiled--looking amazingly refreshed and practically new. The price was extremely reasonable. I can say with assurance, that Mark does terrific work for a reasonable price. When he delivered the chair to me, he also looked at our oak roll-top desk. The wood slats that roll up and down are starting to separate in a couple of places. He showed me how I could glue it myself to preserve their life as well as putting some vaseline in the groove where the wood dowel moves to provide less friction and lengthen the life of the roll-top. There's no question that he's been running his business in a very professional and honest manner for many years. I HIGHLY recommend him!

I found a reasonably priced (and unique froggie ) fabric that went well with the off-white paint, and they created a new back and new firm cushion with it. It's in my office now and goes so well with the decor, plus it's comfortable so my husband likes to use it too. I felt the price was very good @ $140. He was up front and honest and let us know that due to the construction and age of the table that while he could make it look good, he couldn't make it look brilliant.
