Good food and pretty good prices but some of the staff are very rude and have a bad attitude. Will not visit this place again.

Stopped by to see what all the Yelp hype was about and discovered a pretty standard steakhouse…read more(relative to the American ones I've frequented). Excellent, kind, and efficient service that made me feel quite at home, but the food was alright but great for the cheap price compared to a CPH steakhouse. Food: 4/5. I had the recommended classic, plankstek. The seasoning wasn't anything special, but the chefs do know how to cook their meat. I had medium well, and it was cooked perfectly. Usually I run the risk of it being too dry, but Mando's got the perfect touch! Service: 5/5. I came by on a Wednesday around 4pm, and the place was already quite busy, so I can't imagine what it's like during rush hour. Since it was an off-hour, I was promptly seated wherever I wanted. The blonde waitress was sweet and even bent down to speak to me at eye-level to ensure friendly comfort. Price: 4/5. Coming from CPH, I expected crazy prices at a steakhouse, but for 130g of the plankstek--that also comes with a mixed salad, fries, and 1 onion ring--it only cost about $25 USD. I half expected to order another side in case I wasn't full, but no worries there.

We started with an Eriksberg and the salad bar. Salad is included with the entree. A good variety of items from greens to cheese (Feta, Mozzarella), seasoned mushrooms, corn & peppers. A great way to start the meal. The garlic bread was excellent! For main, I ordered the No Bone T-Bone. A Filet/Tenderloin and Sirloin cut grilled separately. I asked for medium rare. The Tenderloin was amazing! On the other hand, the Sirloin was ok & came out closer to medium. Would order just the Tenderloin in the future. The Carnivore Classic (Burger) was also ordered and it was very good. The fries come with the entrees and we ordered the potatisgratang as an extra and the creamy potatoes were very good and definitely worth the 20 KR. Also got the Pepper (good) & Bearnaise (better) side sauces. They also have chicken and Salmon entrees but the feeling is that it is all about the steaks here. Service was ok and could have been more attentive. Overall, a solid choice for steak.

The same people are behind it but they have now managed to revitalize things and have created a restaurant where I do at least feel very much at ease at and I do know that whatever I will be served it will taste good. The food is often not complex and perhaps not the most creative either but they do only use high quality products so most things will be just great as the chefs truly know what they are doing. The food may be a bit heavy but it is definitely in the Swedish tradition of things and I am myself fond of this type of food. They have also done an excellent job of finding good beer and wine to match the food. They also carry it all the way be serving good coffee as well.

The burger is exceptionally good, even though it only comes in two versions (plain and animal style). The desserts don't seem to be the sweet spot of Monster, if I should highlight a weakness. You really get the feeling of "all in" in terms of steakhouse. All in all a nice place to visit. Most probably the best chance of getting high quality meat in malmö at a decent price! I especially recommend the burger - it's nothing new, but simply a good execution of a classic "dish".

I wouldn't say that I'm a master of sushi reviewer but I have tasted pretty damn good sushi other places. This place unfortunately proves that Malmö is still Copenhagen's little sister when it comes to sushi place. I have been to many bad and good sushi places in Copenhagen, but the portions here are very small - even when we're talking about nigiri size that should be standard anywhere else, shouldn't it? We ordered 10 pieces of nigiri and 4 big maki since we were hungry. We thought that it would be enough to sate our hunger but they were extremely tiny when they came out in the serving plates, even the so-called big maki is a mini compared to some huge maki rolls that we have here in Copenhagen. Sorry Yukai, I better move to a greener grass and find a better sushi place in Malmö, or just stick to Copenhagen when it comes to sushi. PS: If you must absolutely order sushi here, go for the grilled eel. They're the best of all the nigiri
