It took a while until she could start working with us, because she is typically pretty busy, but it was very much worth the wait. She was very reachable and responsive. She came out and spoke with our contractor as often as needed, drew up plans, and together with the builder she made sure that our finished room would conform to the local zoning code. She helped us figure out the "big picture" for the overall project, and she also helped with details, such as color scheme and materials. Her design, while very attractive, was also very realistic in terms of function and price. I would definitely recommend her for any project, large or small.

In December of 2021 (16 months later), house plans were finally ready for bidding. They came in at THREE TIMES the budget we gave them. Then they wanted us to pay more so they could work on the design to get it more in line with original expectation. This was after we had already paid the firm $80,000. We decided that would be throwing good money after bad. When we did not agree to pay them more money, they cancelled our contract. Communication was ineffective, at best, but we often felt it was deliberately misleading.

I am a broke grad student that owns half a duplex in hood-adjacent Bryan (it's not in the hood, but it's viewable from my home). When they came over, they were very honest in saying that they don't usually do projects as small as mine and that don't involve design; they do higher end projects. I appreciated their honesty, as I've had multiple people waste my time or charge an absurd amount, I'm assuming to get out of the work unless I paid them 4x over what others would charge for the same job. Despite my home not being within their usual budget and area of specialty, they still wrote me estimates for free that I could take to court when the previous remodeler tried to sue me for nonpayment when virtually nothing he did was up to code and most of it was actually a huge fire hazard. These guys have integrity. I've had virtually no luck with any home repair people out here and didn't actually hire these guys to do the job, but, if I had the money, I'd do so in a heartbeat. They're good guys with good hearts and won't take advantage of you and will make sure the job is done right. Genuine, honest, and reliable company! Highly recommend!
