Tj Maxx *cough* the next up and coming Ross (this location) has seen the last of my money. I shop here at least 2 times week, looking for clothes or household items and I'll admit, majority of the time you can find a good deal on something cute. What differentiates this place from a Ross is the high end brands they carry from time to time - Michael Kors, Nike, Juicy Couture if you're lucky. The household items are usually of quality. I stopped in last Friday and grabbed what I thought was a cute romper - I had my rambunctious 1 year old with me, didn't have time to try it on, purchased it and left. Tried it on over the weekend and it fit well but just didn't look right. I left the house the morning to return it and of course, forgot the receipt at home. No worries - I happen to remember that Tj Maxx is way behind the times and can't look up a receipt from the card you purchased with LIKE PRACTICALLY EVERY OTHER STORE - and with no receipt comes, store credit. Cool. Not this crap hole. Walked in this morning, 1 year old in tow, she scans my romper TAG and ALL and tells me they won't take it because ITS NO LONGER IN THEIR SYSTEM - have a nice day! What?! You literally see the tags with a big TJ MAXX label practically slapping you in the face and you won't take it??!!! Oh my mommy meltdown. People with massive shopping habits like myself, don't come here. Instead, shop at NORDSTROM RACK where everything is electronic, they keep your card on file, you never need a receipt and they're much more accommodating. :( read more

DO NOT BUY GOLD jewelry from ThIS company. They sold me a 14k solid gold bracelet for hundreds of dollars and when I went to a jeweler he told me it's not real! I'm shocked. He said it's stamped 14k gold but it's a lower KT and it's definitely not solid. I contacted the company and they said it's not their problem because it's outside the return date. How you SCAMMED me. I'm looking into a lawsuit it wasn't labeled 14k plated it was advertised as 14k solid gold. I was silly for trusting this company. I like this TJ Maxx! 2 of the main reasons I go here....coffee & baby clothes! There's always a huge selection of gourmet flavored coffees! I find it hard to just get a couple. The baby clothes selection is hit or miss, but I don't shop here for baby clothes out of necessity for that reason. The store is usually clean & fairly well organized! Of all the discount retailers in the area, this one at this location is cleaner and neatly organized, all items have a price tag. Easier to look through the racks because clothes are categorized much better by size, color and style ( can you all sense Im a neat freak by now??) Most clothes sold here are in season, not so much the "so last year" look like other places. In the household/kitchenware area they have a good selection of quality and designer brand goods. I spotted and scored on Crate & Barrel dinnerware. If you are a fitness freak, they have a nice selection of designer activewear for way less than retail prices. You are on your own though if you are looking for help on the sales floor. Have to hunt down someone if I ever have a question. The line at checkout can look intimidating, but they have the system down, so it goes fairly quick since it's only one line with 3+ cashiers working. read more

Friday came too walk around and maybe do some shopping . Stopped by tj max on stephanie street looked at some beauty items and some clearance racks. Found plenty of good items from hair products to setting sprays for make. Got a clearance pair of sunglasses for kids price was 4.99 when I got too the register to pay the cashier took off. Then she came back and told me that the price was wrong? There was several more in the clearance cart. Her attitude was so nasty and she was supposedly the manager at the time !! She only keep saying I'm sorry, I'm sorry making things just more frustrating to me and my husband her customer service was the worst and so unprofessional my just taking off like crazy instead of letting me know what the issue was ? I had plenty of items too purchase but with her negative attitude we decided just too leave everything at the register, we have never been so disappointed like today with the way she reacted and her bad customer service!! She might need to reconsider we the customer buying merchandise pays her salary!! Will not come back again and will tell all of my family and friends about this incident tonight ! Beware don't waste your time! Most retailers that sell clothes have their fitting rooms open now. TJ MAXX DOES NOT! There is nothing that mandates this retailer to have their fitting rooms closed. This is hugely disrespectful to their customers and a big inconvenience. The only reason why they have them closed still is that they are taking advantage of the Pandemic and paranoid people steal their clothing in the fitting rooms. So this means you have to buy everything, take it home and drive back to the store wait in line and return anything that doesn't fit! I won't be back after I take back what doesn't fit snd get my refund. Go to Macy's, Dillards and all the clothing stores in the mall, their fitting rooms are OPEN! And their prices are just as good and save yourself a headache from a retailer that does this to you! read more

The thrill of the hunt is definitely the appeal of this store to me. I usually come in to browse for knick knacks and oddball things for the home (but never expect to actually leave with anything). Every now and then I find something to get excited about but usually it's just junk mixed in with other junk. I once bought 84" curtain panels for a guest bedroom and when I brought them home I realized both panels were a different size, and neither were 84" lol. Took them right back! I realize I only have success with the little things I'm not looking for (decorative pieces or the occasional shirt that will catch my eye and actually wind up fitting and looking good). This store is reasonably organized as far as the TJ Maxx's and Marshall's of the world go. When you find something good the price usually can't be beat. It's worth a look just for fun and you might get lucky. read more

This TJ Maxx location is probably the worst one I've ever been to. The staff do not enforce mask wearing and social distancing which puts all customers at potential risk. The store manager of the Stephanie location was one of the most rude workers I have ever seen. read more

As far as TJ Maxx goes, this one is pretty small. There's also a Homegoods across the street (not walkable) which makes it hard to shop for yoga clothes AND christmukkah decorations in one place. They have a small home goods section, but definitely smaller than what you'll see at the combined stores. There's a Burlington Coat in the same plaza if you're looking to hit up them both! read more

My mom and I were that customer that stayed till closing. All of the staff was a bit irritated especially the manager on duty. She didn't smile once. I'm giving 5 stars because of Kyle D. This is the best TJ Maxx location in the city! I always find what I'm looking for here at the Stephanie location! I usually pop in every now and then just to browse the selection and almost always end up walking out with more than a couple items. If you like stores like TJ Maxx and you're in Henderson this store is a must visit! read more

I was driving by to possibly stop in the other day and I was so surprised to see that this store were having their employees cleaning the carts OUTSIDE IN 115 degrees WEATHER!! It looked like the employee was an older woman sweating and completely exhausted!! Do you not understand we live in a desert??? At Target they clean the carts inside and so does Marshalls!! I decided not to go in because I didn't want to support this! Very disappointing!! read more

Worst customer service ever. Came here thinking it would be exceptional customer service due to where it's located.. NOT! Wasn't greeted when I walked in. The store barely had any good items and it was a mess! When I got to the register it was clear gift wrap in boxes I asked the cash register clerk if it was wrapping paper to wrap baskets with, three times and not once did she answer. Once I started a side convo about writing a lovely review is when she started to speak my language. So distasteful. Definitely won't be going back there. read more

Name brand stuff for cheap-er. As always the stuff is kinda a mess but don't complain too much because sometimes the prices are awesome! Found a belt that was exactly what I wanted but had no tag on it... Well they couldn't find another one like it so they said "how about $4?" I handed them my card! Staff was friendly and helpful with my wife while she was trying to find a dress in a different size. We'll be back for sure. Also don't forget this place come "winter" as the "Summer" stuff goes even more cheap and vice versa! read more

I like this place for reasonably priced handbags and t-shirts. My son loves the toy section because they always have a new Transformer or Superhero guy on the shelf. The only thing I would watch out for is the insane and utter mess you run into around the store when it is near closing time. I was really impressed at this TJ Maxx store. In each department I entered an employee greeted me and asked me if I was finding everything OK. They were very friendly and even went out of their way to help me find some pillows I was looking for.I had bought two of them at Another Tj Maxx And needed two more. I have never been to that T.J. Maxx in Henderson and was very impressed how clean the store wise and friendly the employees were. Even though I live far away I would definitely come back to this location. read more

I have shopped tj maxx for years with my mother and even have their card. Came in to this location to do an exchange just for different size from another location. At this one the price was marked 20 more dollars then what I bought it for and the Sales clerk named Toni was horrible she said they would not honor even though the exact jacket and I asked her if she could at least call the other store to see if they had a different size and she told me no I could call and find the number on google, I work I retail so I was completely surprised at the service I was getting. I ended up finding the jacket in the store on a different rack for the 20 dollars and then she said "yeah my manager got to find it" I said actually no I happen to find it and she finished with well doesn't that just work out so rudely. Upon entering, witnessed 3 juveniles burst out of the store laughing hysterically with their arms full of unpaid merchandise. They lingered in clear visibility while a small group kept an eye on them, and, staff appeared to take no action. Finally approached an employee pointing out their clear visibility and the opportunity to take action. Was told police would not be called, no action would be taken. Oh, ok. Soo good to know. Was going to shop here, but, next time perhaps I'll leave my purse behind and simply bring empty arms and running shoes...? read more
