Dr. Choochek fitted a night guard for me (yeah, I'm one of those teeth grinders), and it came to a reasonable £50 (they run about $500 back home). If you're looking to get your teeth cleaned, you'll often have to make an appointment a few weeks in advance, as they only visit the office one or two days a week. They even offer beauty services like Botox and Restylane injections - it's nice to know I have the option once my laugh lines get a bit too deep! My only criticism is the Yank on the TV advert can get a bit annoying, but normally you don't have to wait that long, so it's not too much of an issue.

However, as far as you can differentiate, this one is good. The receptionists are very friendly and always willing to help (unlike some receptionists in the Dr on Cathays Terrace who continue their personal conversations when I'm trying to talk to them - I'm not over it). However, they play adverts in the waiting room which are on a loop and so, if your dentist is running behind schedule (or even if they're not; it's not a long loop) you may find yourself going a little bit crazy. If you can tune it out, though, or can bring earphones, it's all good.

Have to say the dentist was marvellous on my visit being sociophobic its really hard to be able to…read morego to any kind of appointments but after having a panic attack in the waiting room the dentist took me into the surgery and let me wait in there, opened the window, gave me water and even made me a little ball to play with to help me relax from the stuff they mould crowns with she was so nice, friendly and really put me at ease, very impressed!!

From the outset and upon entering the reception, I was extremely surprised at the personal service I received as well as the welcoming atmosphere. Dr Lesti was extremely informative regarding my treatment and ensured I was comfortable and at ease. His manner was warm and reassuring, and due to this, any dread and anxiety I felt was instantly gone. A great practice with warm and friendly staff.....highly recommended.

All staff are very professional and friendly. I am a private patient and I'm not sure there are still any NHS patients I have no regrets becoming a private patient at the pratice.
