I didn't…read morelook anywhere except the kids section but there were great deals to be had if you want to stock up for next summer. There were loads of kids tshirts reduced to £1 and I got a pair of boys combats reduced to 50p. As usual though, just like in every other shop there was tons of girls clothes but very little for baby boys in the sale so I was a little disappointed. The downstairs cash desk isn't very well designed, and it was a bit of a buggy battle as there's a large pillar just in front of one of the tills, and both myself and the next customer had babies with us, which totally gridlocked the area. Only a minor fault, but it was a bit annoying. I was there for ages because the cashier couldn't get the price right on 3 rolls of wrapping paper that were reduced to 25p - whatever she did it kept charging £1 each, so I had to wait for a supervisor. When I finally got back into the lift I checked my receipt and discovered I had been charged twice for something - only £2.50 but £2.50 is £2.50!!! I had to go up to the top floor (waiting on two cycles of the lift because it was busy) and wait at customer services to get a refund. Grrrr! The lady there was very apologetic but it was just annoying to have to do this - the 10 mins delay meant I had to pay an extra quid-odds for car parking so I was not a happy panda. The customer service was excellent and the prices were fab although you do get what you pay for and the quality isn't fantastic, but kids grow out of stuff so fast that it doesn't really matter. It's worth a visit if you're shopping on a budget - it is a massive store.

For some reason, TK Maxx in Bradford always seem to have things in stock that you don't find in other stores. I remember finding a rare Lulu Guinness handbag there reduced to £13, and a fab Duchamp waistcoat that I haven't seen anywhere else. It is a bit messy inside, but it is a large store and there's plenty of stuff to look through if you've got the time. Watch out for the wobbly floor upstairs - you sometimes think that the vibrations are going to bounce all the glasswares off the shelves!

I've been coveting a pair of trousers from here for a while now. Every time I passed I'd see them and so finally, the other day, I went in to investigate. And I think I've found a brand that knows my style - I love the clothing in this place. It's smart, but with a hint of vintage, the fabrics are high quality and the colour schemes are adorable. I.e. there is naught a hint of shocking pink in sight. On this fine sunny Bank Holiday I sought out my coveted pair only to discover I'd left it too late - they had about three pairs left none in my size! Dang. And, to make matters worse, they retail at a massive £45... That's a bit of a number for a pair of trousers. Sadly, as I browsed the other items this became a recurring theme. All the gorgeous tops I longed for were just that little bit too much. Perhaps I'm a skin-flint, but then again, I understand that you are at least paying for a high quality item should you make the spend. Tough decisions. Nonetheless I asked a sales assistant if they had any more in stock, wanting to at least see if they looked as glorious upon my person as they did in store, and she was extremely helpful. Whilst they had none she checked all the other stores in Leeds and found that the shopping plaza had my size. Of course, I trundled over there, and found that they were perfect. But, no. I did not buy - I decided to be sensible and save up my pennies. After all, they are only a pair of trousers, right? To summarise; the clothes herein are gorgeous, expensive, but well tailored and superbly stylish.

There is a wide selection of clothes, bags and accessories, and everything is easy to find. The store assistants are usually happy to help, and will advise on clothing ideas. Most things are quite expensive, but they are very good quality clothes, and will last longer than cheaper alternatives.

I remember that I always used to enjoy their styles so was hoping to pick myself up something decent for the mini heat wave - even if it was only to last a week! Sure enough I saw loads of stylish bargains. They had some awesome dusky pink vintage style shorts that went straight in the basket! The range of clothes was quite varied, with plenty of casual wear mixed in with the latest summer colours and new vintage inspired looks. The shop was in a bit of a state but you can forgive this given that a huge sale was afoot and customers can in general be quite careless. Nonetheless I managed to pick up three or four items for the summer for under fifty quid so I was pretty chuffed. The staff were lovely and cheery in spite of the odd menacing angry customer, the heat was on and people were getting seriously pushy, but they remained pleasant and helpful so that's always a bonus!

There are plenty of helpful staff and the queues at the checkouts don't tend to take too long to get through. I have two problems: 1. The music is sometimes played so loud. I'm not just getting old, I swear, I shouldn't have to shout over music when I'm shopping. 2. It's so confusingly laid out. I'm not sure what the plan was and if it's intended to be laid out like this but I think you could easily get lost in here. Maybe if you shop here all the time you'd get the hang of it but I can't see the logical flow of the store. Otherwise, it's just like every other medium-large sized branch of Topshop. It's handy for getting your high street fashion fix and then moving on to explore the rest of the Trinity.

I think a lot of the garments cost a lot of money for what they are and I don't think that the quality is there on a lot of the materials. Everybody was rather excited about Kate Moss's fashion range hitting the rails but really...what's so special about it? Yes she's a model, yes, she's famous...but then again, yes...the clothes look the same as any others but have an added Kate Moss tag and a few extra numbers on the price. I do like the accessories they sell, the rings in particular. But I find that they break pretty easily and quickly and that the colours are quick to fade on the earrings. Overall, Topshop is okay. If you want to look the same as everybody else.

TK Maxx is both a blessing and a curse. The store is humungous, which bodes well in terms of…read morechoice. You can literally get lost in a sea of clothing, and there is such a vast range that they are sure to have what you are looking for. The handbag section alone is about 6 aisles, with all the colours of the rainbow covered. My favourite items to look for are their dresses. They have so many quirky pieces that you will almost certainly find something unique. All of their stock is marked down designer clothing so that is another bonus - bargains galore! On the flip side, the vast array of choice can often be overwhelming. If you aren't in the mood/tired/in a rush, then this place can be as hellish as Primark to sift through. Too much choice and too many people. The other dark side to TK Maxx is once again, the designer clothing element. Whilst in a lot of cases it means that the unique brands are more affordable, it also means that the one item that you might fall in love with is something like £300 marked down from £500. Whilst a £200 saving is great, it's not so much if you only meant to spend £40 in the first place! So I have a love-hate relationship with TK Maxx. On so many occasions I have walked away with some really lovely, quirky and well made frocks. But then on a few occasions I have run out screaming (or, at least, briskly walked out tutting) with nothing.

They sell a load of clothes in there and are arranged in the store depending on type (such as Mens Trousers, Plus Size, Womens Tops etc) The clothes are also in size order. Most of the clothes are low on duplicates too so if you find something then it may be the only one in Huddersfield wearing something like it. I do find some of the clothes there are the types that people in 'Walmart' wear (I'm English, but just google 'Walmart photos' and you'll understand what I mean lol.) Everything in there is of knock off prices perhaps ex-catalogue or a stich missing or something? I've no idea, but the prices are ok. They also sell designer stuff there too :) TK Maxx also sell shoes and even the womens shoes go up to sizes I didn't think was possible lol. There are handbags, luggage, underwear, dresses, cushions, packaged foods, books, kitchen equipment, crockery, toys, etc etc etc it has loads. The other day when I went I bought some hot sauce, it's called 'Pain 85%' and OMG is certainly is! I just dabbed my finger on it and tried it and it burnt my mouth away, my husband was unable to talk for a while as he had half a teaspoon! lol. It tastes horrible too, I guess it wouldn't be so bad if it tasted a bit better.....no, no it would still be bad. And to think they do a Pain 100%

They've got a lot of brilliant bargains - when I was there last time I picked up a Zero Halliburton suitcase worth many hundreds of pounds for £13 in clearance. Their homewares department wasn't brilliant with quite a limited selection and I had to queue for quite a while last time but if you're an avid bargain hunter you won't be put off by that! Watch out for the new returns policy which only gices you 14 days and says you MUST have a receipt. Also beware you'll have to pay up to 6p for a carrier bag, even if you've spent hundreds!
