However much like Wigan we found this store quite small in comparison to some of the others we've visited in places like Liverpool, Manchester and Blackpool. Happily for me neither found anything they hadn't already seen in other branches so my wallet remained unopened and intact. If you're in Warrington then have a look but if you really want the full Primani experience then head for Liverpool or Manchester instead.

Having said that the current stock is generally cheap enough anyway. It's great for kids clothes, I can't really comment on ladies but the downside of the menswear department is that, like every other Primark I've ever been in, they tend to stock large quantities of clothes in sizes XS and S and very little in sizes L and XL. I've never quite understood why that is, it's a bit sizeist if you ask me. The shop has been extended in the last year, taking over the former Woolies shop next door to more or less double in size and is nearly always busy, however the hyper efficient till operators make sure you rarely have to spend much time in the queue no matter how long the queue might appear.

Well, whenever I walk past Next's flagship store in central Manchester I imagine him ranting and chuckle out loud. It's not that Next is worse than other global brands, it's that this gigantic shop aims to sell everything idyllic couples and families could need from beds, comforters and lamps to dining tables, chairs, sofas and rugs. The majority of it looks bland and forgettable but the fact it's in neutral colours and restrained patterns means it probably flies out of the store. For those desperate to buy into the whole Next brand / lifestyle, there's also two floors devoted to casual, smart and evening womenswear, menswear and childrenswear. If I was the kind of girl that looked at catalogues and imagined buying a matching dress and kitchenware, I'd probably enjoy shopping here. As it is, I find it a soul-less and ungratifying experience. To paraphrase Tyler: "I say never be complete, I say stop being perfect, I say....let the chips fall where they may."

Due to UK government guidelines, they are only able to open for click and collect orders, and returns, they're doing this by serving people at the door with perspex screens, while this isn't the most comfortable or great experience, they do seem to be trying, although I wouldn't want to be spending a lot of time collecting an order in queues etc in the rain. They could have worked it out better for sure such as by opening a small area of the store to handle everything inside, but it's still better than staying closed. The store is a decent size, it certainly isn't bad for a small town, although I do significantly prefer their Manchester store which is much better. 3* - Pretty decent store, the staff seemed friendly enough. Granted, it was extremely close to store closing time - but unfortunately the bodily functions of eight month olds do not align to timetabling notions like "David" must apply to the staff under his care. Simply put he kicked us out with a soiled baby and a smile on his face. Look, I understand that people are just doing their jobs and that closing time is a difficult time. But this level of callous disregard for the needs of a vulnerable human being (a baby) is just appalling. On a different note, there were three ladies there, also being kicked out. Located on Church Street, it is basically right bang in the heart of the One and the centre of Liverpool so the location here is really good, the store is quite large and is in an old building so is nowhere near as modern on the outside, or even the inside as other Primark stores I have visited including stores in Gateshead, Cardiff, Newcastle and Amsterdam, most of which I have visited in the past and awarded a three-star rating to. A lack of renovation could let the store down more than ever now, following H&M locating into the old BHS unit, with a more modern store as the retailer is similar to Primark so action is needed soon. This branch of Primark in a way reminds me of Southport's store, inside it isn't too impressive or modern - which is a shame and it contradicts what you would expect considering Liverpool is a big city, the second biggest in north-west England. I didn't like this store, not just because of the poor overall feel but it just was really untidy, I lost count of clothes on the floor before even getting to the men's section (the ladies section os on the ground floor), and by the looks of things, it looked like it had been that way for a while and staff were unbothered by it, and not doing anything to change it, making it an unsatisfactory and unpleasant place to shop overall. An untidy, uninspiring store which even lets Primark down, if you compare this to other branches of Primark including those in Gateshead and Amsterdam, which I did like, it looks like a completely different store, mainly down to the overall feel, staff and cleanliness of a store, this isn't a store I can reccomend or justify anything over a one-star rating for on this occasion.

It does tend to attract a lot of students and for those who love a bargain, this is the place to shop. Quality of clothing can be unpredictible but it all depends. If you're fortunate, you may find a garment to last you more than a few years. The store itself is plentiful, serving 5 floors which has something to suit everybody. There is even a homeware section on the top tier. Primark is a shop which you'll either love or hate, and I love it!

This is a fairly small store by Debenhams standard, however, this must be expected to a degree with it being in a smaller town - there are much larger branches at Manchester Trafford, Manchester Market Street and Liverpool which are all 10-20 miles away, but this location still serves as a great location for click and collect for customers who might want Debenhams fashion without the travel (The click and collect desk could be in a better location compared to the Lower Ground floor but this seems to be common practice to force people to spend more time going through the store hoping they see more items along the way, you normally wouldn't see when online shopping) Again - due to the size of the store compared to others they did lack many facilities one would normally expect from Debenhams including many beauty brands which is a shame - they do however have a small cafe area, but unlike other stores, they don't have a juice bar or something similar. I never thought I would see the day when Warrington Town centre had a Debenhams, but now we have…read moreour very own and I think it is fantastic! It may be a little smaller than the city centre debenhams, but it still stocks everything you could need. I love the designers at Debenhams range, particularly for children, and the fact that you can now buy Radley bags in the town centre is a bonus. The cafe on the top floor is brilliant as you can look out onto the whole shopping centre and have a nosey as to what everyone is getting up to.

There is an excellent variety of choice to suit most people, the prices are quite reasonable and the staff attentive although I have to agree with lou2497; sometimes too persistent! You can rely on River Island to be right up to the minute fashion wise and have amazing items. It is a fantastic place for teenagers and young people as well as having some sophisticated pieces for older people. The staff are reasonably friendly and will approach you to ask if you need any help (sometimes a little too mithering). A good selection of gimmicky gifts in store at the moment, just in time for Christmas. great!!
