Atrocious store with a miserable customer experience. I had a replacement phone to pick up, and the representative kept insisting we owed them money. We did not. She then shrugged and said to talk to her manager, Abiud, and did not engage with us further. The manager throws himself next to us, makes no conversation, and denies my request. Even though it was cleared by T Mobile and I was only there to pick it up. When I asked him to help me repair my phone, he shrugged and said I had to go through insurance, but that he couldn't help me with that either. When I expressed my frustration, he sucked his teeth and said, "I'm getting screwed here too, lady." Excuse me? Helping a customer with a cleared and approved repair is "getting screwed"? When you held my replacement phone hostage? AVOID AVOID AVOID. If you are not buying a device and the mediocre employees can't make commission off of you, they'll just do everything in their power to be as unhelpful as possible. Stop acting like your only job is selling phones. You aren't a salesman, you're a customer service rep. Act like it. read more

Sold us a new iPhone with a cracked case. Sales Rep did not open the box in front of my daughter. She just placed the phone on the counter and went off to help other customers. Noticed the crack that night and contacted the store the very next day and was told that it wasn't broken when we took possession of if. The sales rep was very rude and told my daughter that she shouldn't worry about it because her Dad was paying for it. I contacted the customer service line and they stated they would take the phone back and give my daughter a new one. The rep noted that account and stated my daughter would have no problems getting the phone changed with no charges. The store did not honor that agreement and was once again rude to my daughter. I contacted Customer service again and they told me to go to a different store but we had the same result. The store manager said he would have a high-level company manager contact me but no one ever called. Now I need to make my first payment on a defective phone. You better check your equipment very well before leaving the store or you will be stuck with defective equipment. I spend approx $4000 per year with T-Mobile. I went into the store for an issue receiving text codes. I first went to the store on Grand St. & Graham. Waste of time. They didn't really want to be bothered and weren't even pretending to care. They told me to call Customer Care. Instead, I tried the store on Manhattan Ave. And I'm so glad I did. A rep named SAM looked up my account, tried to check settings and see if he could fix it. But he couldn't. So he called Customer Care while I was there. He explained the issue and that rep was able to fix the issue. He invested the time and made a customer happy. THANKS SAM!!!! If you are not a manager, you should be. And they should send you to the Grand St. store to train those slugs. read more

I went to store to see the new model of IPhone 12 series. There is a couple see this kind of phone too. Suddenly the security guard came and told us we are not allowed to touch the phone. Honestly I don't mind following COVID 19 rules but if this store wants very strict rule they should have an appointment and not let anyone in if they don't have the appointment like Apple store. What a purpose of having a phone model in the store? How customers will decide to buy it if they can't feel or test if the phone is suited with their hand and their need. Staff secretly increases prices on your account without telling you. Be careful when you sign contracts in this store they are DISHONEST!!!! don't believe them on services they offer, it isn't usually true. Avoid this T-Mobile and maybe even T-Mobile in general. I had to visit this unfortanately for me to replace an iPhone that into a fight with my car door and lost. The young man that helped me was very polite and very helpful. He looked up my account and started the claims process for me online. I was lucky enough to have insurance on my phone. Once the form was filled out, I had to call in to confirm the new phone. He let me use the phone there which was cool. The whole process took less than 30 minutes. Because I was able to get to the store before 6 pm, I was able to get the phone the next day. The cost was $175. Pricey but better than buying a new phone. I would definitely come back to this store if I had another issue down the line. read more

Just went here to get help because my old phone is not functioning. I wanted to purchase a new iPhone. The girl that I spoke to (skinny Hispanic girl with dark hair) was not only clueless but also disrespectful. I was inquiring about my photos - apparently I didnt back them up. I was asking her if theres any way to verify that and all I got was an attitude. She also didnt understand basic things that I was saying to her such as "I don't have insurance." I dont know if she's new, but she has no idea what she is doing. Needless to say, I went to a different T-mobile store, got a new phone and restarted it from the iCloud backup. All my pics are here. The "customer service" rep was quick to sell me a new phone, which had to be shipped to me, and just as quick to send me home when i came back to get help setting it up-- saying i could "just follow the instructions on the screen." Would have been cool if they told me that that in order for it to work, i had to pop a SIM card out of my old phone and put it in my new one. I was left youtube-ing how to do this. Unsure why the humans in the store even exist if they are unable to help you set up your phone. All of this should just be done online. Would save the customer money. read more

This is the third time I've encountered him and today has to work with a manager even though he was fighting to keep my sale. (He's a snake). Worst fucking customer service. I asked to be put under my boyfriends plan and not only did we wait 40 minutes but all they said was to call customer service. When i called customer service they said i need to migrate my sprint account to T-Mobile which needs to be done in store. I've never been so frustrated in my life. This location is so much more friendly and helpful. Hubster had to stop in to get his phone migrated over from AT&T. The entire process took about 15 minutes and went without a hitch. The girl who helped us was professional, had a good attitude and got us on our merry way quickly. The vibe of this store was friendly and efficient. It's really interesting how different locations have such a disparity in service. Anyways, instead of a quick trek the nasty Bedford location, I'd rather trek a little further to this friend lot and helpful location! read more

If I could give this store no stars I would have given them that. 1 star is to good for them. I applaud them for lying and giving me the run around. For over 2 weeks between my husband and myself trying to get my phone upgraded we went into the store to try and get service to resolve the issue (I couldn't get the JUMP program to work at home) after they realized the issue they told me to come back this past Friday to do the instore exchange and upgrade of my phone. I went back on the given day and they were unable to upgrade my phone due to the JUMP computer system being down (this has all been irritating but not their fault). The guy helping told me to stop back at the store later on, and maybe the issue would be resolved. I told him it was silly for me to keep coming down, and to either call me or text me when the issue was fixed. Here's where I become annoyed... the manager gave the representative the ok to hold the phone (I had already filled out my paperwork) and said he would call when everything was resolved, but the phone was mine. Great right?!? Saturday I'm waiting nothing... I call he says the issue hasn't been fixed that he would call me when it was. Sunday rolls around nothing.... My husband calls me today to let me know T-Mobile called him directly that it was fixed and that I should go down there to get my phone. I call the store to confirm everything was working, and get this annoying girl who confirms that the system is working, however there are no phones. I tell her they are holding 1 for me my name is attached to the box, she tells me there are no phones that are being held and no S5s are available, they are sold out. I told her I was supposed to get a call to come in as soon as the system was running and that a manager gave the ok for this. She gives me an unsympathetic apology. Really? Thanks for wasting my time. No worries though my husband has put in a complaint into your store, and I've got all your names for that complaint that will be filed :) read more

If you are in Greenpoint, get Verizon. A few weeks after I upgraded my plan, my husband and I no longer had service in our home. 5 months, 5 calls, a visit to this store later we are still paying $160 a month to not be able to use our phone in our house. We have to fork up the money to cancel our plans. They have not as much as compensated us for lost service or waived the fee to cancel our plan. Every time I have had to call it has been an hour on the line of me walking around the neighborhood (finding better reception), explaining the problem and the steps I have taken to try and remedy it to someone new. On one occasion a phone I bought from this store was no longer working a month later. I had to pay full price for a new phone despite the insurance I had because the representative told me that there as water damage. When I tried to explain that the phone had never been around liquids ( I should know it had only been a month), the representative at this store told me that some women are unaware when they spill perfume in their purse. Get verizon if you live in Greenpoint. You may spend 10 buck more but you will get a free phone and not have to spend 400 bucks to cancel you service. Everyone who has verizon around here has service to boot. read more

The first couple of times I went, they were sort of helpful but gave me wrong info on phone order times. I actually signed up to switch in the store, but the rest of my experiences with T-Mobile were so bad I canceled to stay with AT&T. When I went in to cancel, I waited in line for over 20 mins (in the middle of a weekday) to be told they can't help me. Also, the employees are constantly texting while they're supposed to be helping customers. Like they'll be doing something for you then stop to get out their phones to text. read more

Was ready to buy an S2 Classic watch but Waited 20mins and still no help. I thought one of the salesman was with a customer but turns they were just chatting while I waited.
