    I had severe difficulties switching my cell service. Boost Mobile put in a work order for the…read moreswitch. Boost said it would take 72 hours for the switch. Optimum's first offer was to send me a new free phone. I will receive the new phone within 48 hours. Optimum's second offer was that I could go to an optimum store and get a free phone. When I arrived at the store the new free phone was out of stock. My only option was to buy a new phone, last year's model. I have already spent over $200 on this new phone. Now, I am in the process of trying to get my money back or credit for my account.

    Description of complaint: My optimum internet and mobile…read moreservice acct# 07837-167939-07 was cancelled by optimum without my authorization. I found out 3 weeks later, after returning from vacation, that my account on APT#1 was cancelled, and Optimum created a new account 07837-167939-08 for apt#2. i am the only account holder, and apartment #1 has nothing to do with apartment #2. After calling back 3 times, i was able to get my account reactivated into 07837-167939-09. i was charged fees for nonpayment of equipment not returned, even though i never cancelled my account. So, Optimum sales team cancelled my account on Apt#1 for Apt#2, even though they are not related. its a 2-family home. because of this, i was without internet service and mobile service for 3 weeks. My car was scratched during that time, and i had no access to my wifi cameras and no way to control my wifi thermostat. i am unable to find out who or what caused my vehicle damages as a result of this. why did Optimum share my personal details and account info with someone NOT on my account, and has nothing to do with apartment #1? this is a violation of my private information. I need financial compensation for this and all fees resulting removed. Account/Order/Tracking number: 07837-167939-07 Desired settlement: documented complaint, assurance that my personal information will be protected with identity monitoring services, and $1400 to repair the scratches on my car, and another $600 for the 8 calls , lasting 45 min or more each time, explaining this to be hung up on each time.

My phone was broken for a few days and t mobile customer service over the phone and apple had me running in circles. No one could find a solution to the problem even tho in the end it was a minor fix of putting my SIM card in another T-Mobile phone but i didnt have anyone around that did. I had gone to geek squad at Best Buy in the Bx mall and asked them to at least try but no one was willing. Idk her name but a female worker at this T-Mobile fixed the problem that I had for FIVE DAYS in literally 5-10 min. Communicated easily - listened to me even tho i was frustrated and had an attitude but i was fed up with the problem and no solution. She had no issue putting my SIM card in her phone so I could receive a message to reset a password that was needed. So thank you very much to her and her patience. Maybe the Best Buy workers thought it was too personal a gesture but they could've done a lot more to help, as could have the T-Mobile and apple customer service agents over the phone. I spoke to a total of nine representatives and only two had knowledge and actually moved me up along the process of solving my problem before i encountered the great help at this T-Mobile. After I was done I stayed inside the store downloading some apps I needed and a new agent would come up and ask if I needed help or was already assisted literally every couple mins. I also used to frequent the Fordham location and this one does not compare. Clean - helpful and not rushing u out. Thank you guys for the great customer service!
