That being said, I've noticed a lack of professionalism during a few visits... namely, inappropriate topic discussions at the front register and the newest stocking guy frequently cussing while talking to another employee. It's one thing to speak freely with your supervisor behind closed doors, but another to be so careless and vile within a customer's earshot. I've picked up blue prints and a few other print jobs for my boss here. No major issues other than having to wait an extra 10 minutes because they didn't notice his second request in their sytem. They were apologetic. The store is large and organized well. Large, spacious parking lot to match your shopping experience. On another (albeit rather silly) note, I'm glad they named it "Staples" and not something arbitrary like "Rulers" or "Erasers" or "Letter Openers." While rulers, erasers, and letter openers certainly are handy tools in the office, actual staples help keep important stuff together. So do "Paper Clips," but would have been way too long to say and shortening it to "Clips" could cause even more confusion. Keep your office and/or school life together. Go to Staples.

Not only was I promptly greeted when I entered the store with a warm, friendly smile, but service thereon was nice and quick. There is ample parking in a shared plaza lot. This UPS is in the plaza next to the Walgreens. This is a business that other local businesses could take major pointers from... I appreciate their high level of professionalism.

He also admitted that he just barely reordered some water-based texture spray that they were out of. I appreciate this kind of frank insight. Their prices seemed to be competitive with other nearby DIY stores. While I walked away no painting accessories like I wanted, I definitely would go here for the next project! All three employees were welcoming. Ample parking out front or on the south side of the Hobbs, NM building.

I was a bit perturbed at not being welcomed when I came in today (October 17, 2025) and another I walked by who made eye contact with me said nothing, but shortly thereafter, three other employees came up to me, smiling asking if I needed assistance. I like most of their clothes, but I simply didn't see anything I was dying to have. At one point, I grabbed a boot jack which I desperately need, especially as I get older. Lol. A young staff member walked up to me and said, "Just to let you know, that's actually $29.99 not $19.99." She was re-labeling them as we spoke. That's precisely why I knocked off a star.

The Hobbs, NM, location tends to have everything my company needs in stock such as electrician scissors, conduit bodies, galvanized rigid couplings, conduit, and all the boring electrician job materials. Lol. It's also well-organized. I work closely with the accounts receivable department and have never had any issues at all with them. They are all friendly & respectful. I went in for 2 items it took a whole 3 minutes to get what I needed. When I walked in there were…read moreabout 8 people in line waiting to be checked out and 1 cashier. I stood in line not moving for 20 minutes and when I noticed there were 2 other employees in the store I asked the cashier if they could come help check and she got very rude about it. One employee was sitting on her lazy rear end in the office. None of them were in proper uniform. I was a manager at dollar general in Oklahoma and dollar general policy is if there are 3 people in line you call another employee to come jump on a register. The customer service in this store was awful I did call corporate. I also noticed the store is very cluttered and not clean. You can't get down aisles. I won't be back.
