I was alone when I visited the first time, and because it was relatively slow at the time I went, the bartender, despite not speaking much english, played about 10 games against me. By my second and third visit, the bartender was introducing me to other patrons for opportunities to play and improve my game. The one down side was there was no selection of food to order, and the music is recorded and never live, but I believe this is much more common in Europe, than in the United States where bars often have a kitchen, 2-3 pool tables, and the occasional live music.
