When I tried Lumberjacks, I went to their Lake in the Hills site and got a small amount of wood. No reason to spend money if the wood sucks. I have to say, that wood consistently burned hot was easy to light and burned to ash. I used their wood to burn off the crappy wood I had accumulated. I highly recommend them. Only Con: they only take checks or cash, at least at the LITH location. I would encourage Lumberjacks to invest in Square or Paypal and step into the 21st century.

Update; Jay did get…read moreback to me and explain what happened; everything is good. I am writing this review not based on Myers service but on the lack of integrity of the owner Jay. I had listed a snowblower for sale with a firm price (I was selling for a friend that moved) and Jay agreed to buy it after testing it out. He then claimed that he was $45 short and would send a check for the balance...that never happened despite repeated contacts. Based on this I would not trust him or his services.
