We rang the Club to be on the Pick-Up service operated by the Bowlo. A friendly driver arrived in a timely fashion & our group of 8 were pleased to be leaving a camp of teenagers behind us! The menu offered a good selection. As it was Tuesday there was a Pizza Special : any pizza on menu plus a drink $15. Some of my friends opted for this. Others chose seafood, my neighbour had pasta & I ordered Lamb Shanks.... as I often do! There were a few desserts available too. I enjoyed every bite of the Rum & Raisin Creme Brûlée as my mates tucked into a decadent choc tart. Wine by glass or bottle was reasonably priced. Wow, a pleasant surprise. And when we were ready to return to real life the mini bus was there to chauffeur us back.

The specials board is a chance for the chefs to let their hair down and go a little wild. Last week there was a steak on a smoked salmon risotto...topped with prawns. Holy moly! The bar side feels a bit old and club-like, but the little courtyard is lovely. There's always lots of parking and seats. The staff really try hard, and they seem to know the locals' names. And the locals seem lovely too. It's very kid friendly, budget friendly and relaxed.

I have been here a number of times for functions and work get togethers. Been very suitable…read more I don't find the place flash in any way but feels very down to earth and I have found some really good food specials here which bring me back. You know how it is, hard to find a decent meal for under $10. Well here they have. The schnitzel meal got me coming back. Thick and meaty and some of the sauces offered have been very nice. Dinner times pull in a range of locals mostly and are entertained on the right nights with some local talents that sing and croon. There are discounts available upon becoming a member but one of the things I like most is that they have a courtesy bus available to pick up patrons who live with in a 5 km radius. That also includes a drop off. What a great service for a club to provide. I will use it one day just to see how long it takes. Like all bowling clubs it has it's bowls area, but also gambling. Rooms are available for rent for meetings and gatherings. Some include bars. All of which are a good size for the community.
