For dessert we shared a little chocolate cake with two scones vanilla ice cream, which was just perfect for two! They also had a yummy looking tiramisu, but I think desserts are depending on what they offer each day and are not on the menu. Staff was really quick, they looked after all guests, asking for another drinks when there were empty glases, cleaned away the dishes immediatley etc - I know, its there job, but they were really good at it, and it deserved to be appericated! For 4 people, we ordered a couple of simple starters - mixed salad, papas arrugadas (wrinkly potatoes with red mojo), and revuelto (scrambled egg, mushroom and shrimp). Everything was fresh and tasted delicious. Also to start you have a roll of warm bread. For mains most of us ordered the cod pil pil - which is what they are known for - the pil pil is a mild garlic sauce and a side of vegetables (which I've been told most likely from the potaje!). As dessert I took the Santiago cake (Tarte de Santiago), a cake containing almond paste. A great ending. Together with a small bottle of mineral water, a glass of rosé and an espresso it cost me 56€. This restaurant serves good local cuisine without pretense and I was struggling whether to give them 5 or 4 stars, as for the same price you can eat at the Terraza de Thomas, which is Michelin nominated. One serving of lobster/languster was not sufficiently cooked, in fact raw inside.
