Visiting from New Jersey table 9 definitely gave us a warm welcome. The food was great and the drinks were just what we needed. Staff was welcoming and kind. Appreciate the love.

Ambiance is on point. Service is great and the food is delicious. I got the bacon cheddar egg sandwich on English Muffin. Mike got the veggie melt sandwich. Both came with home fries. Nice place. Will be back.

Loved the location! Ambiance is amazing. I recommend sitting on the outside when warm out! The riverfront view is just relaxing! Loved it. Got here with a group of colleagues with a reservation. Seated once we arrived. The staff was very friendly and was able to recommend drinks and food all around. Glad I was able to visit this spot. Definitely recommend.

My girlfriend treated me here for my birthday and it was very good. Table 9 is a cute little place near the riverfront trail and has a nice view. We started the evening with drinks and an appetizer. We ordered the sriracha fries and they were so good. Definitely recommend. The menu had a little bit of everything on it and the Italian sandwich caught my eye. I was shocked how big it was and didn't disappoint. I couldn't help but noticed how understaffed the place was. There were only three girls running around as hostess, waitress, bartender taking care of all at least 20 different parties. They did a terrific job but nonetheless just an observation. Definitely will be back here! PS: Their brunch menu looked fantastic.

Ordered a sandwich with siracha fries and the Brussel sprouts. The sandwich was not prepared as ordered, and the portion was quite meager. The accompanying fries also came out plain. When we finally got the siracha and garlic aioli, the aioli was basically a butter sauce. Not good. The Brussel sprouts were ok--very heavily sauced.

Cute little spot in Morgantown. Came here for brunch on a Saturday. We opted to sit outside by the river and the view was nice. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and added some potatoes. Food overall was good but took a little time to come out and was kind of cold by the time it did. Our server was very attentive at the beginning but after our food came, kind of forgot about us. It's a decent place with a good menu but could definitely be improved on the execution.

Table 9 is located right in the river walk in the Wharf District of Morgantown. While the interior had a good vibe, it's the river patio that you want. We were lucky that the weather was great on a November evening and the patio was not crowded at sunset. They have a full bar with a good wine list. I was surprised they did not have any salads, and not many appetizers. My friend and I split the brussel sprouts and the lamb. This was a good portion for two. The brussels were crispy with a creamy hollandaise sauce. The lamb chops were cooked to order, with a creamy pesto sauce and a side of roasted fall veggies. We also split a slice of an Apple compote cheesecake, just as good as it sounds. Service was great, everything came out hot at a good pace. After the sunset, with the low lighting from the hung lights, and low music, this would be a great date spot.

Delicious! The Brussels Sprouts were my favorite but the pasta and dessert were close seconds. We will definitely return again!!!!

I know this isn't Star Search, but Yelp really should let us use fractions in our ratings. If they…read moredid, I would give Iron Horse Tavern ... drumroll ... three-and-three-quarter stars (Ed McMahon voice)! But Yelp doesn't, and since 3.75 is closer to 4 than it is to 3 (right?), 4 stars it is. Whew, that's all the math I care to do today. My pulled pork nachos were not my favorite. It could have been a user error, though -- I didn't see on the menu that the cheese they were using was beer cheese. I just saw "pulled pork" and my mind went blank, and I had to order the nachos. In my opinion, a little beer cheese goes a long way, and these nachos had lots and lots of beer cheese. The only other ingredients on the nachos were jalapeno and a sprinkling of chives, so they were a little one-note. I think a different cheese and adding something else (avocado, maybe? Or beans? Green onions?) would have helped. We also got the mac and cheese, both the adult size and the child size. I was told that the mac and cheese was good, and both portions were huge. In fact, the child's-size mac and cheese was almost as large as the adult size. The kids menu has all of the kid heavy hitters, like chicken tenders, a smash burger, grilled cheese and a chicken sandwich. Kids meals come with chips or apple slices. We also got the Beets & Greens salad, which is a mixed-green salad with roasted red and yellow beets, green apple, candied walnuts, goat cheese and a poppy seed vinaigrette. This was honestly the best thing we ordered, and I think if I were to visit again, I'd get a salad. Iron Horse has eight salads on their menu, which is quite a lot, for a pub-type place. Actually, I'd get a salad and one of their handmade pierogis. Whenever a restaurant hand-makes something, you should always get that! I usually do, but got caught up in thinking about pulled pork. Oh well. The service here was great. The restaurant itself is nice, with a huge bar area that takes up about half of the restaurant. This looks like a nice place to watch sports and get a beer or something.

So here's my MO. Whenever I go somewhere, I always ask the server for a recommendation. Why?…read moreBecause they're the experts! Also, I've a hard time making decisions so I'm cheating! DRINKS: something sweet and or fruit. FOOD: what would you feed a hungry football player? Someone who likes savory/ flavorful dishes but can't do "too spicy." Now that you know, we can continue our tipsy yelping. UPDATE: Butcher and the Rye closed 12/2020 due to covid-19 pandemic's tour of fine dining destruction. The location reopened 12/02/22 as Apres Ski Bar while the Butcher and Rye concept is reignited. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ I've been here before and the food was delicious. It was about 2+ years ago, so I'd be lying if I told you what I ate. However, my subconscious causes my mouth to water when I think about eating here. Make that bit of information what you will. Yesterday I was out for drinks. The night's vict-- server was Erin. She recommended the Snowfall in Montego Bay. She made an excellent recommendation. It was made of a clove infused Jamaican rum, banana, cinnamon, rosemary, honey coconut, and apple cider. The blend of flavors was well-balanced and helped prevent any one flavor dominating the drink. So if you don't like any of the listed ingredients you should be safe to order because they all worked in harmony to prevent offending your palate. In the meantime, I need to make sure to return for dinner again.

I went on Friday evening for their new Spookeasy Halloween themed pop up bar. It was opening day of…read moretheir new concept so I expected it to be super busy which it was. The five of us put our name in on the waitlist and proceeded to wait outside. I checked in not too long later and was told we were first on the list to get in. It started pouring rain and they were nice enough to let us wait in the entrance on the sides so that we didn't get soaked. They then proceeded to move us to the side of the bar where the entrance is into Tako, took our drink orders and my friend's card for the tab, and then told us that we would get our drinks and get seated shortly. We waited....then waited....then waited some more. It was not a great spot to put us since staff members kept walking from Butcher to Tako and back. We finally asked them if we could just got sit in Tako and get out drinks there since we were attending an after party there afterwards anyways. They said yes and let us go to the Tako side. After quite some time we got our drinks delivered to us at Tako and they were lazy in my opinion. I absolutely loved Apres Ski Bar and The Lost Cantina (the previous two pop up concepts there this year) so I badly wanted to love Spookeasy but it was not it for me. Pretty much all the drink were just drinks from the Lost Cantina tiki concept with a skull put in it or just a changed name. My friend and I split the Science Fiction Double Feature and it was almost unbearably sweet (although I did appreciate the popcorn container). The Purple People Eater was delightful but it was also That Purple Drink from the Lost Cantina. The Chupacabra drink was exactly the same drink, name and everything from the last concept. I also wanted to like the decor inside Spookeasy since the decor for Apres Ski Bar and The Lost Cantina were phenomenal. The decor for Spookeasy was also lazy. They kept all the Lost Cantina decor and just put skulls, spiders, and bats everywhere. Overall, Spookeasy was just not it for me. I will say it was their opening day when I went so maybe they just need more time to have more creative drinks and decor. But it felt like to me that they're just tired and the pop up bars need to stop (I'm sure it's exhausting to think of new themed drinks and decorations all the time) and it needs to go back to the regular Butcher and the Rye.
