I would get it working for a bit but by the next day , it was broken again. On a Friday in the middle of a heat advisory, it stopped working. It took me knocking on the door of 20 tenants to end up getting managements number, as there is no number for emergencies given, no answering machine at the office, and nobody there to answer on weekends. I finally was able to call management. She answered and I explained my situation and that I had a special needs toddler in the home. She informed me that she didn't have the number for the maintenance man at this time? Do what? You run multiple apartment buildings and don't know how to get in touch with your maintenance man?!? She suggested I put a note on his door and said she would see if she could "find" his number. I tried to call her later that night to check to see if she got in touch with him- no answer. I am trying to call again today repeatedly and still receive no answer. I leave voicemails and get no call back. To enlighten you a bit more, we aren't super picky. We have multiple things we have wrong in our apartment that have NOT been fixed despite request and have yet to complain. This is the list in entirety of all wrong: a whole wall of electricity does not work in our kitchen, the electrical wiring is bad and blows lightbulbs every 3 weeks, our stove has no handle, despite the fact we have never used the dishwasher--a puddle of black water stands in it and repeatedly backs up into the machine from other plumbing, our bathroom sink has no hot water facet knob ( maintenance stated he ordered it and it would be here in 2 was but never returned that was 3 years ago), both sinks in kitchen and bathroom require draino at least once every two weeks, our air is broken, the toilet seat is broken in one bathroom, windows do not lock and three sets, leaky sink and water damaged wood in kitchen, it took us four years to get a mailbox key, and I'm sure there is more but this is just off the top of my head people. Do NOT rent from Beck Realty!!!!!!! At first glance the price actually seems reasonable for the area and quiet but once you move in you will be in the same boat. I will also mention that although my pipes didn't burst this winter, the pipes in 5 apartments did and rather than replace the carpeting they just vacuumed it and moved on. Oh! It just hit me! One more thing! Don't even attempt to use the onsite laundromat there are 3 washers and 3 dryers for the 28/29 apartments but only one of each (or sometimes only one total) work at any given time. They will move these out for a couple of days so you think they are working on them. Then they will reappear. You will put your money in assuming it is fixed if they put it back but you will lose your money. In total I've lost at least $100 in there and leave all the notes you want they will not return your change. If it does accept your money be weary because nine times out of ten it won't drain the water all the way and you will have to wring every item by hand. I can't stress this enough--- just keep walking on by!

Stay far away from JTS Remodeling. This was easily one of the most frustrating, disrespectful, and…read moreunprofessional experiences I've ever had with a contractor. Communication was practically nonexistent. I was constantly left wondering if he was going to show up--no calls, no texts, nothing. When he did show up, it was completely random and usually unannounced, often not until around 5 PM, and he would sometimes stay working until 10 or 11 at night. There was zero respect for my time, my home, or anything I had planned. His attitude only made things worse. He spoke down to me repeatedly in a degrading and dismissive way, as if my concerns didn't matter. Instead of working with me, he acted like I had no say in what was happening in my own home. As for the work itself, it was a mess. After giving an estimate, he started redoing things I never asked him to touch. It felt like he was making decisions on his own, creating more problems instead of solving them. On top of that, the cost was already extremely high for the level of quality I received, which made the entire situation even more frustrating. I also seriously question the level of skill he claimed to have. The project was supposed to take 2-3 weeks, yet over two months later he was still working on something as basic as laying tile. That kind of delay is completely unacceptable. After I finally had enough and let him go due to the constant lateness and issues, he then tried to demand another $1,000, claiming he was owed for supplies--but couldn't provide a single receipt to back that up. When he came to collect his tools (which had taken over an entire bedroom), he even had the audacity to ask for pipe fittings back that he had already installed, claiming they were his and he needed them returned. Between the lack of communication, random late-night hours, unauthorized changes, inflated cost for poor quality work, constant delays, and the disrespectful way he treated me, this experience was an absolute nightmare. Save yourself the stress, time, and money--hire someone else.
