They scraped the old ceiling finish off, and relocated and replaced a busted attic access. The rehung multiple doors, replaced busted deck steps, and built a huge fence and RV gate for me. The work was extensive, and the pricing for the fence was super reasonable and it came out crazy nice! Honestly I was surprised at the quotes as I expected them to try to take me to the cleaners as most of the contractors I have dealt with out here were super pricey. Change out a light switch plate? Sure, for twenty bucks. Here's the kicker though, and what sets them apart from the rest; I live in AZ. Giving contractors access to a house unsupervised can make the most trustworthy person think twice. I have cameras set up throughout my house though, and every day they were there early in the morning, doing the work without needing to be supervised. Every night they cleaned up after themselves and locked up and not once did I catch any of their guys in the master bedroom trying on the wife's lingerie when nobody was looking. Nadja stayed in touch with me throughout the entire process and never got annoyed at my repeated questions, or 'suggestions' no matter how stupid they were. Hometown Handyman rocks to say the least. He was so friendly and professional from beginning to end. Even when I found out in the middle of it that I needed to get new windows he just went with it and got them ordered and replaced as soon as possible. I decided after they got started that I wanted to replace the complete flat roof, he just said, "sure, we can do that". He and his team replaced the shingled roof and the flat roof, replaced the windows, demoed the sides and prepped them for the rock work. And the gutters and downspouts were the final touches and they look amazing too. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Anchor Point Development. I called and a rep came out that day, estimate for the guys insurance and for the police report. they cashed my deposit check in early April, I believe. I've been put off, no call backs I always have to call. Today I called late morning and was told "a guy" would be there sometime today. there is far too much fence for one guy to complete this much fencing. I'm disappointed. I've requested my full deposit to be returned. I'm hoping we can just part ways peacefully.
