A friend gave me a large Casablanca ceiling fan in perfect working order, though I soon discovered it lacked a base unit to attach it to the ceiling. I needed to have the fan installed asap. The job required new wiring from the circuit breaker. So I called three other electricians rated highly on Yelp. One never called me back. One called back two days later. And one gave me a quote of $350-$400 dollars. Phil answered his phone (917-519-2306) right away. He said he'd be over in two hours, and was true to his word. He and Carlvern inspected the job, hustled over to Home Depot for the requisite parts, then came back and finished the job within a couple hours. I paid less than half what the other electrician quoted, including parts. The fan had a two-foot long extension pole. When he installed it, Phil said the thought the fan would work better and be safer with a shorter pole. So he returned with the shorter pole, and installed it the next day, free of charge. Over and above what I've ever experienced with an electrician. I'm giving him five stars only because there isn't a ten rating. He's honest, hard working, quick, and a damn fine electrician.

He got a number of electrical jobs done very well in our apartment -- several pendant light installations (which required breaking through the ceilings/walls); rewiring/installation of an outdoor light; installation of an outdoor outlet; re-routing of switchers and dimmer installation. To make all of this happen, Phil came to our place multiple times. Sometimes, he brought along his son Phil-Andrew, who was also very courteous and helpful. All in all, I would highly recommend Phil and use his services again any time.

After calling Electrician Techs multiple times, as well as another electrician and getting no follow through, I called Warren and wow I am glad I did. He was very communicative and helpful with my situation from the start, and he took my complicated job that no one else would take! He was very sympathetic and kind to my situation (trying to close this impossible permit so I could sell my property, while being pregnant). He is licensed so he can deal with DOB permitting, unlike some of the other "electricians" working in the field, who are apparently unlicensed! He was very experienced and knowledgeable about the DOB and how to successfully pass inspection. Warren also involved me and asked my judgment at every step of the process, which put me at ease and was actually pretty fun. He shows respect for you as a client and as a human being, which is so rare and lovely to encounter in this context. He was always on time and communicative via phone and text, and pretty funny too. He got the impossible job done quickly enough for my property sale, while minimizing stress for me. Needless to say, we PASSED the DOB inspection, which was incredible. As a customer I have my right to have a receipt for a Service I paid in full. I found it so ridiculous and very unprofessional. Do not hire this company at all and if you do ask for your receipt in advance so they dont try to rob you like they did with me.
