First time with Taco Bamba. The menu had a tone of variety of meats and ingredients and even breakfast options. We had four different tacos with ground beef, steak and chicken. Sauces seemed fresh and wide range of heat. All were a hit. Taco Bamba offers both full service and a walk-in counter to place an order. Clean, neat and not too loud for me inside. The menu focuses on tacos and tortas. I had the Choriqueso Torta which was large and tasted great! The tortilla chips were also very good -- fresh, crisp and salty. They also have a salsa bar with choices from mild to hot so you don't get stuck with wimpy salsa. My server was very helpful. Definitely worth a return visit. read more

A to-be-expected taco shop. They try to add a little razzle-dazzle by allowing you to jack up your tacos, which just means adding cheese and sauce. Good for a lunch run. The Mexican corn was not very good. I did enjoy their patio seating. read more

Togo order. Breakfast taco was really good, but really small and definitely not worth almost $5. Got the breakfast enchiladas as well. Should've looked at the pictures beforehand, the amount of lettuce, tomato, and sour cream on top absolutely ruined it and I couldn't really eat it. I've been waiting for their page to be set up here so I can leave a review. The tacos are ridiculously good. So far I've gotten things off the tacos neuvos menu and haven't been disappointed. And it's not expensive at all. Their drinks are fabulous and it's all around a top notch experience. I loved this place! This was actually my second time this week and I ordered the same quesadilla because it was SO good. Definitely recommend the chicken tinga over other protein options because it is so juicy and flavorful. The mix of cheeses in the quesadilla set it apart from others and it was one of the best I've had in Raleigh. I wanted to try something new so I got the barbacoa taco dirty style - the meat itself was delicious as well as all of the other toppings however I felt that the sweet chili sauce disrupted the other more savory flavors in the taco and I wish I had gone without it. Churros were straightforward - came very warm, with caramel to dip, delicious but very sweet, I could not finish them. The salsas were great and I really enjoyed that they were self serve as well as the queso. Overall, my food came very quick and piping hot. Service was good and the manager even stopped by all the tables to ask how we were enjoying our meals. Can't wait to try something new next time! read more

I'd give it another chance but it's extremely chaotic and stressful as a dining experience and this was a Tuesday night. They don't have enough dedicated staff and it's not clear whether you're supposed to wait for your number to be called or they bring it to your table. (I've dined here twice and each time it was completely different). Food is good but overly complicated special tacos. I'd give it another try and stick with the traditional tacos. Ambiance is great and obviously this location was needing a restaurant like this. Overall good but I prefer the dining experience and level of service at similar places like bar taco. read more

We were very disappointed in the food here, despite being super excited and optimistic about their opening. The food was super over salted and just didn't seem like good quality. We all left feeling kind of gross after eating such adulterated food. The tacos were skimpy on anything fresh and heavy on salt. a very disappointing experience! I tried the shrimp taco and the steak taco, both were meh. The only good salsa on the salsa bar was the Verde, the two red salsas were both smoky and the orange salsa had a mayonnaise kind of texture to it. there was no pico available, not a jalapeño in sight anywhere! my friend had the chicken rings taco and the Barbecoa and was disappointed with both. we ordered chips and queso and were served a brown bag of chips with a 4 oz plastic cup of microwaved cheez whiz -again, pretty flavorless, not to mention the lack of presentation. the only positive I have to say is that if you sit at the bar you can be served instead of standing in line and our bartender was very pleasant. we won't be returning. read more

The food was delicious , i Got The Mulita de Birria lamb and cheese and it came with cilantro,onions and Birria sauce it was soo good. My grandmother got the Tinca Quesadilla that was also very good. The best part was the churros with dulce de leche. The sweet tea was so sweet and good. Everything is a 10/10 i recommend. Jaff at the counter was very nice and helpful, he helped me and my grandmother choose what we wanted. The staff were wonderful and attentive. The place was very clean and had good vibes. Interesting space with nice outdoor seating in the back, but we had the grilled chicken nachos, a taco, and a quesadilla which were not good. The nachos and taco were over the top with spices- I don't just mean on the spicy side (not a big deal for me), but also far too salty and too much seasoning. The nachos had big chunks of over-seasoned chicken thrown on top and were piled in a paper container, so toppings fell out onto the table when we picked them up. It was a waste of $30 (we came home and ate food we had here) and I'd go to nearby Gym Tacos or Chubby's instead in the future. read more
