Wanted to support a local restaurant, walked in the door with my wife at 4:55 pm. No customers in the lobby, 6 employees behind the counter - telling funny stories. We stood at the counter to order and were never even recognized or acknowledged. Several shot us a look and then turned their back to us. No one said a word, after waiting for 2+ minutes we finally walked out - without a word said to us. I guess the "counter" person was outside for a smoke. He came in as we got in our car to leave. As we left, no one in drive thru either. Disappointed...hello Chick-fil-a!!! They greeted us the moment we stepped in the door, immediately took our order and served us within 3 minutes. I used my handy Taco Bell mobile app today after seeing a commercial for their $5 Nacho Grande box... and knowing that I could *customize* it on the app in ways one can't in store made it oh so much better! I also decided to make this a total cheat day and got a beef soft taco Supreme as well, customized, of course. The great benefit of using the app is being able to (besides customizing) pay for it, arrange a pick up time, and just go through the drive through (or inside) and get your meal lickety split! It's ready when you are with no waiting or deciding what you want when you get there, as you've had time to peruse the entire menu plus app specials and pre-order and pre-pay. Now... regarding my order... y'all will see from the pictures that they truly go overboard on these things! I'm gonna be eating those nachos tomorrow too, and that ginormous taco ended up having its filling from the last half dumped on the last half of the nachos. Guess my Momma in Heaven is laughing and pointing a finger at me saying "Eyes bigger than your stomach, child?" and she'd be right as always. Regarding that drink, though... I had asked for the Baja Blast to be blue raspberry, but I got a neon green something whose flavor is a mystery. I deducted a star for that, and for the fact that whatever I'm trying to drink is just weird. It almost tastes alcoholic but we all know it's not. I thought about mentioning the fact it definitely was NOT blue when it was handed to me, but there were so many people behind me at the drive through that I let it slide. This is all true. 100%. No exaggeration. We are visiting from out of State. Had a craving. Tried to order on the app. 37160. App says there are no pickup times available. Odd. Recreated the order on TacoBell.com. Selected this store. 37160. Main Street, Shelbyville. It takes my order again, then won't let me checkout. Says no time available for pickup. So I call the store. 3 times. First 2 times I get a fax tone. I look on Google for their hours. Google says this location is closed. As in permanently closed. I know for a fact this isn't true. So I called the store for a third time. Get a 'new' employee. He has no answer for anything, but he was polite. I try to place our order over the phone. He says we can't do that. We have to go there. So I screenshot my order on my phone and text it to my husband. He drives to Taco Bell. He tries to place the order at the store. They tell him the $5.00 boxes are only available online. THEY KNOW WE HAVE TRIED BOTH THE APP AND TACOBELL.COM. Husband gives up leaves. He said the store was completely empty. You think? Really people? Why is that? They will be permanently closed at this pace. They had no customers and did absolutely nothing to assist us placing our order. He gave up and went to Sonic. Always fast drive-through, orders always right, great window employees, and remembers me when I come. I'm in a wheelchair and when I drive up there they are aware that it's easier for them to bring it out to me then trying to hand it through the window. Ok I love Taco bell and its always worth the wait to get good food. There are pros and cons at this particular Taco Bell though. Pros: Drive Thru service pretty good and usually get my food pretty fast. Friendly service inside and drive thru most of the time. Cons: If you order inside then be prepared to wait a while. It might just be the afternoon, early evening crew, but they are super slow it seems sometimes. Also a couple times they did not pay attention to the order we said and we didn't realize it until after we got our food, so be aware of that too. Bathroom Review: Not the worst, but still pretty dirty usually. There have been several times no soap in the bathroom. Overall though, the food is good 99% of the time, but the patience could be worn thin at times. Great Place! read more

I've been to Taco Bell's in a few different states and this one is one of the worst. They run out of things constantly and my bag is always missing something. Last night the lady at the window asked if I wanted butt cream? How unprofessional is that. I know it was late but seriously? I worked nights and stopped for food today. The line as usual was long and slow (not something within their control) but when I got to the window they were out of literally everything except stuff to make plain burritos. I understand they are the only Taco Bell but they constantly have a night line, they can at least prepare in advance and stock up. Great food! They get my order right and it's SUPER FAST like faster then any other I've been to. And the food is cheap and good (beefy 5 layer burrito is to good to be for $1) and the staff is really nice. My only complaint is that they removed the coin game where if you land it on the bottom with a certain coin YOU WON FREE FOOD EVEN A BURRITO OR OTHER FOOD (that is still good) read more

Literally the worst Taco Bell ever. We went tonight for supper through the drive threw that took 20 minutes to get threw. I got home 15 miles away and unloaded the bag. Thankful everything was in there, but the 1 thing I asked for a certain way was done incorrectly. I asked for no chipotle sauce on the quesarito, and they put extra. It's so spicy I can't even eat it. I tried to call them so they could make it right, and their phone rings busy immediately. I tired 12 times and still busy. I will not be returning. That is ludicrous. So tonight I get a bowl of cereal while my family eats their food. Again, ludicrous. Even the woman in the drive threw was rude and unprofessional. read more

I have been to a lot of Taco Bell locations. This is by for the worst. We live a few miles out of town and sometimes go through the drive through on our way home. Every time we get home parts of the order is not in the bag. We call the store, talk to the manager and then we are told that they will redo the food. Since it is so late when we get home with the food (normally about 9:30-10:30 at night) we normally tell them that we will get the food the next day. Go up to the store and they deny everything!!!
