It was flavorful, comforting, and the small portion was actually the perfect size for a late-night meal. My honey ordered the chilaquiles, and unfortunately they didn't quite live up to expectations. He was hoping for bolder flavors and a little more spice, but found them a bit bland. Overall, it was a good experience thanks to the quick service and satisfying pozole. I'd happily come back for the pozole, but I'd probably try something different than the chilaquiles next time.

We order pan de dulce for the table and we got 2 conchas, soft and warm just made. A chocolate roll and a fig and nata pastry along with coffee for the table. We order hievos rancheros with the red sauce. Huevos revueltos con chorizo, omelete con flor de calabaza y tamal de elote con crema. We also order a birria de res to share with the table. Service was very quick, efficient and friendly menus can be had in english or Spanish . My daughter order a hot chocolate with preparation table side, she said it was amazing. Fantastic place for brunch but arrive before 9:45am otherwise lines and some slight wait after 10am.

The only good meal I had in Mexico City…read more Living in San Diego and visiting Tijuana for food quite often, I guess I'm used to above average restaurant experiences. I would've thought Mexico City had great food in general, but that wasn't the case. Was there for four days, ate many meals out and this was the only one I really enjoyed. Too bad the place was so hot and stuffy. It was cooler outside than it was inside. All they needed to do was open some windows. Service was great though.
