Tacos are delicious. And they have the perfect red salsa. It's very spicy so be careful.

Terrible! Don't waste your money. Got 2 tacos de tripa and 2 tacos de asada. The tripa tasted like it was a couple of days old. No flavor. Extremely crunchy. The asada, I'm not even sure that was asada. Tasted like a mix of asada and birria. Hell the only good thing from here was the medio litro of Coca Cola. Never coming here again. read more

This. Place. Is. Awesome. Seriously you guys, awesome. The food is delicious and flavorful, the hot sauce is fabulous and the prices can't be beat. I've had a lot of different things from the menu and so far nothing has been less than 5 stars. The Carne Asada burrito is probably my favorite, and it's enough food for about 3 meals. Also a fun bonus: They don't get angry at you for speaking English. I work in Pacoima and don't speak Spanish (yeah yeah I know how dare I, what's wrong with me, I have no business being here, etc etc), and a lot of the local places will give me serious eye rolls and heavy sighs of irritation for not ordering in Spanish or for my horrendous pronunciation when I try. One word, GUACATELA!!! (really really disgusting for non Spanish speakers) Tasteless soggy meat they call "asada". Carnitas were unlike anything I've ever had, not even in a good way though they lacked flavor and tasted like they were boiled too. What a shame. I love tacos and I've never left a plate like I did here. I thought maybe it's just this one taco that's bad but no, I bit them to test them and I was so disappointed. Place was nasty too. El Oso! Mexican for the bear. And boy was this place a bear of a burrito! for like 4 dollars you can get a burrito the size of a small football! Filled with what I like to call mystery meat. You know, the kinda Mexican meat that the asada looks like carnitas, and visa versa. the cabeza looks like asada. it comes with beans only or you can get an all meat for a little extra. very tasty salsas. delicious horchata. too bad it only comes in one size. I need to go back an do the taco sampler there. I return solely for the size of the burritos. Great place I live close by and used to come here so often, they memorize my order which is always a great feeling . I get a burrito DE Asada with no Chile or onions because I like to put it on myself. There is a bathroom in the back and an ATM in the front. Nobody is extremely nice and prices are fair but the quality of the burritos is soo good. If you are a fan of burritos and real Mexican foods you have to try this one. As far as Mexican tacos and burritos go, these are some of the best I've ever had. I like the asada meat. No fat at all. I can't quite stand the red spicy sauce the tacos/burritos have. It is too spicy for me (but maybe not for you) so I always order them without the sauce. I then ask to get some of the green sauce separately so I can control the amount of spiciness. Then I get a bunch of radishes and voila.... delicious! I now live about 9 miles away but still manage to get some tacos there once in a while. Get the burritos without beans. this place is ass. The carne asada was gross, wack guacamole it was all watery no flavor at all. Who ever says this place is the best place for tacos is lying to you and just wants you to die cause a few hours later after eating there my stomach was hurting non stop for multiple hours. Carne Asada combo burrito w red sause is the best in the valley... If you get the red sause, get some radishes too, they cut the heat... I have been eating here. The food is good not the best I had but it's decent I been coming to this place for about 3 years I Usually always get a burrito or tacos. But Today they pissed me off ! I order a burrito with only asada with no beans or rice and they gave it to me with beans and rice which got me mad which was 8 dollars! This has happen to me multiple times this place is not even worth coming to eat cause they always mess up your order! Plus when I was there today I asked the lady for some salsas she told me how many do I (what) I said give me 4 green and 4 red and she said I'll just give you 3 and 3 !!!! ??? WTF. Tummy. They had a great pic of fresh avocado on their menu, so I ordered two asada tacos with added avocado slices. With tax it was about four-fifty and the avocado was fresh and perfect indeed. The salsa bar was very clean with lots of choices that looked appetizing. I settled on some avocado dip (imagine that) along with my hot sauce and lime. Really the asada meat and their own hot sauce wad plenty good as well. The food was far better than average, with more variety than most places, and its quite inexpensive. One of the very few places that I will never visit again. Tacos are overpriced and not worth your money. The lady asked me if I wanted cilantro and onion I said cilantro please, she responded they come together take both or nothing... Really?? I can't get just cilantro? No they're mixed ugh ok I get my food and get a table the table was filthy I asked the worker if she can clean it she responded with Ill be right there she never came. I grew up in the Pacoima/Arleta area in the late 80s and early 90s and this was the family spot to come and chow down on some tacos... Nowadays the Tacos are filled with mystery meat that they call asada but is more like a super chopped up who knows what part of the cow... I don't mind paying 6 bucks for a burrito, but not when the burrito has very little meat and packed with a pound of frijoles in it. Place seems like it has gone downhill from the days of my child hood. Won't be coming back here. read more

May I just say my go to tacos. My mom had cravings of Tacos del oso when she was pregnant with me and I'm now 22. I've been eating these tacos since I was in my mom stomach. Always a great experience when I go, and they are always quick with the food. Never extremely busy which is always a plus. I wish I can give this +5 stars. read more
