Great food slipped and slit into a taco in front of you. The meats are great, the salads fresh and the vibe alive. Open late night. Outdoor seating. And service in Spanish is friendly and accommodating.

Always our favorite stop in Vegas for tacos on the strip. Amazing people and food. We love the lengua and chorizo tacos. If you want legit Mexican tacos, please try this restaurant!

Wow, these have to be the most expensive tacos ever! 14 tacos, and a burrito for over $100? WTF? Want extra sauce, .27 cent. I don't remember the last time I'd paid for extra sauce. I'd asked for 3 to go boxes, they gave me two. I'd had to ask a different person for the third one. The bad thing is the tacos were not even good. The tortillas tasted like they were frozen. The trippa were not cooked correctly. It was very chewy, hard, and undercooked.

I'll be honest -- I was expecting a much better experience. The food lacked flavor overall, and the pastor didn't taste like traditional al pastor at all; the signature flavor was missing. The service was decent, nothing exceptional. One positive detail I can mention is that the asada tacos were served on fresh handmade tortillas, which I did appreciate.

When we got there at around 10pm, there was only one person ahead of us. Quick service. You can see how they make the orders. There is a separate booth for the register. They provided lime and radishes as self service. The place had a decent ambiance. I would say if you want something quick and no frills, go here.

If I could give a zero star I would. Horrible service , so disorganized . One cashier during peek time . Then as we're eating the lady is mopping right at our table hitting our chairs with her mop like wtf. Quality has gone down and so has the service . No common sense by the staff puts the trash can right next to us .

Tacos El Pastor is where you want to be when you truly want that authentic Mexican food. Tucked into the vibrant heartbeat of the Las Vegas Strip, it's a local gem serving authentic Mexican street food to locals and tourists. The restaurant is clean and decent size, they have a nice big outdoor patio facing the Strip. The overall experience is straight forward, you come in and choose a line to stand in with the flavour taco you want and when you get your food then you pay at the cashier station. These tacos were amazing and flavourful. Tortillas are fresh made and very delicious. Tacos are very filling too . Alongside its signature pastor, featuring marinated pork shaved into fresh handmade tortillas and topped with roasted pineapple, the menu also showcases juicy, flame-grilled asada tacos---tender cuts of beef infused with smoky depth, topped with onions, cilantro, and zesty salsa. Every bite bursts with heart, history, and flavor. Definitely worth the visit. We highly recommend it!

Weird... using store tortillas and handmade ones.... suspicions

+ shorter lines than el gordo next door + cheaper lengua tacos ($4.19 vs $4.44 next door) + pour your own extra salsa + drinks come in see through container - they switch between using generic store bought tortillas and handmade ones (see pics) - meat & flavorless and dry - nopales add on were cold - smaller establishment but has outside seating - 3% credit card fee charge Overall, not a must try. I would def go next door as must try. I was confused why different tortilla types were used. I even compared previous pictures to my items and there was no definite reason either. Im sure its hard to compete with next door but it might help with have better pricing to lure new customers in.

My husband thought the tacos were phenomenal and the service was going well until he took a sip from his horchata and it was disgusting. The horchata isn't homemade it's from a fountain bag that was empty end needed to be changed so he went to talk to the woman at the counter who we think was the owner. She was extremely rude after my husband requested another drink. Not sure if she thought we were scamming her but she wouldn't budge until she finally gave in. Overall the tacos were so good we returned the next day despite the rudeness.

Was craving some tacos while my boyfriend and I were in Vegas for WWWY Festival, so we ordered through DoorDash. The food came in a decent amount of time. I ordered 4 tacos, chicken, al pastor, tripas, and a carne asada taco. They were all so good! The salsa they put on it was slightly spicy but added nice flavor to them! My boyfriend got the carne asada fries, which he devoured in minutes! Everything was great, highly recommend this place, especially for a late night meal!

Go here. Get the El Pastor however you see fit but get the el pastor. Eat. Enjoy. Sooo good!!!! Service is like a cafeteria window set-up, staff is cool and helpful, seems like a local spot and definitely popular.

Honestly, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. There was no line, but do not let that deter you. The tacos were so tasty! My boyfriend had the cabeza tacos and he said it reminded him of home in Jalisco. The Al pastor was not my favorite but I personally don't care for Al pastor in general. Tripas, carnitas and buche were definitely a hit! I will definitely be coming back!

My boyfriend and I came to Vegas for the weekend and were walking on the strip, we passed this place and then passed tacos el gordo. We saw that the tacos el gordo was too busy so on our way back we decided to stop here. I'm so glad we did because these tacos were amazing. We tried the tacos de pastor and they came with salsa, cebolla, cilantro, and salsa de aguacate. The prices were great, it was like $4 and some change for a taco but they had a lot of meat. The place itself is very convenient, there's a lot of seating options. You can sit inside or outside. The workers there prepare the tacos quick. There wasn't much of a line, and they do have everything pretty organized. They have the place in sections so you could wait in a line for pastor tacos, in another for chicken tacos, and so on. We will definitely come back whenever we're in Vegas.

Is there any entree that is gluten free here? Does this restaurant use a shared fryer for things like flour taquitos that would cross contaminate gluten free corn tortilla chips? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.

It is like any typical taqueria, nothing really extraordinary. I ordered asada tacos and was a bit unimpressed. There was a lot of meat but it was very dry and flavorless. I appreciated how juicy the limes were and the salsa verde was nice, but it was all very underwhelming. It was about $13 for the three tacos, so I expected them to be a bit better than what they were. Despite being a little busy, the food came out pretty quick. This spot is quite dingy. There is a lot of open seating but it is dirty and unkempt. When we were eating there, there was a homeless man seated inside screaming, ripping up newspapers and throwing them around, and playing with a lighter. Although there is an understanding that this is not a fine dining establishment, I think it is a bare minimum standard to host an environment where guests feel safe. It is very loud in there and very casual. It is accommodating for both small and large parties without prior reservation. Maybe the other menu items are better, but if you are looking for tacos, this would not be the best option.

MAR Y TIERRA BURRITO - It's still the lightest burrito that provides the most size. I can't say enough good things about the aioli that they use to add flavor profiles to the shredded vegetables used to add body to the burrito. The steak and shrimp used here were good as usual, and the cheese added in is always a welcome surprise. Pescado Taco - The grilled fish taco is one of their better tacos. It's a meaty fish bite, and you get the "signature" slaw + avocado slice. Baja Taco - Most of their tacos are given the sauce + slaw combo along with the protein. I feel that the baja improves in my taco ranking depending on how much fish I get per taco. The batter is amazing and it's really a question if you want to eat fried fish or not. Camaron Taco - Crunchy shrimp, and very good slaw. But I feel that the shrimp is best paired with the steak, thankfully, they have a mar y tierra taco, which I think is the better thing to order. Ambiance: It's one of their bigger branches, so finding a table isn't difficult. Everything else inside the store is stock standard to all the branches I've been to.
