They put up enough tables to accommodate our group last night of about 30. They were cranking out the food. First time ordering from here. We ordered through Door Dash. Our Dasher was great, food was great BUT unfortunately we did not receive the correct drinks nor did me or my mom get the proper ingredients within our orders. We ordered the El Primo Finger Lickin' Flautas. They were great! Alas, upon receiving 2 sauces (salsa & hot sauce maybe) I made the stupid decision of trying the red sauce, that I did NOT know was hot sauce (and when I said hot I mean HOT HOT) with my fork, NOT MY FINGER (don't do that it's just gross) and could barely speak to get a sip of my mom's drink. There was also a bunch of things missing within our orders. For me, the guacamole & sour cream were missing from my tacos. Only the shredded beef was in it. My Mom's El Primo Signature Fish Taco was missing the cheese and also the drink, Agua Fresca, that was supposed to come with her meal. We ordered Mexican Fiesta Cheesy Fries and my sister ordered the El Primo Special Quesabirria which were both fine except she did not receive her Agua Fresca either. For taking a good 2-3 hours to get here, I'd expect y'all or ANY food service place to get peoples orders RIGHT or you will receive a bad review such as this one. I finally dropped in to try their tacos and boy I was not disappointed! I had three: 1. Al Pastor 2. Chorizo 3. Campechano All were equally delicious. Mexican restaurant located inside a South Tampa bodega. I came here for quesobirria tacos. I got a quesadilla done quesobirria style (birria meat inside, consomme on the side). That was my fault. I didn't read that their birria tacos are actually quesobirria tacos. So oops! At least I can say that they can make a good quesobirria quesadilla, but now I'm exhausted with cheese overload. Show up early or late for lunch because this place was pretty busy by 11:30AM (I got there at 11:05AM, and there were three people ahead of me in line). You order at the counter, and then you pay at the bodega cashier, so you also have the opportunity to shop or get a drink from the bodega. When I was there, there were empty machines for horchata, etc., so I just got something from the cooler. This Taco Stand is hidden in the back of a local Food Mart, but had a good amount of available tables and chairs in back. The individual taco servings were ok, as expected for small street tacos, but they were particularly more generous with the fish tacos. They can get pretty busy for lunch on the weekends and sometimes orders get messed up, but overall service is pretty quick.
