So far this has been the best taco spot in Jalisco. They open at 1:30 and there was already a line when we arrived at 1:20. They promptly let us in at 1:30, and were fully staffed waiting for the lunch crowd. You seat yourself and they immediately bring out the 4 different house salsas and a bowl of limes. Love that! There's a menu on the wall or you can scan a QR code at the table. Here's the tacos we ordered: Al pastor- best one; between my husband and I, we ate 10 of these. Costilla- husband rated 7/10 Carnaza- soft and tender Lengua- tender, not chewy, husband rated it 10/10 Dorados- crunchy tortilla with carne molido inside, and topped with carne asada..this was my 2nd favorite. Ive seen this place on youtube and the person I watch said they had the best tacos he's ever eaten. And this guy travels the world. So our first night in GDL we took an Uber here. Got there around 8pm and we sat immediately. Place was full but a table for two was open. We sat down and they took our order. I ordered 3 pastor tacos and 3 asadas with cheese. I also ordered a horchata to drink. The tacos came out pretty quickly. The pastor was really good. But the star of the show was the asada WITH CHEESE. The cheese is the key. They fry up the cheese on the griddle and it gives it a slightly brown color from the heat. The asada taco with cheese is the best tacos I've ever had. If you go here order this! I ended up ordering 2 more asadas with cheese because it was so good. They have some delicious salsa at the table as well as pico de gallo and of course lime. I also ordered a jaricalla which is similar to flan. Very delicious! This place is a must stop restaurant when in Guadalajara. It does get pretty busy for a good reason. The people working were very nice. If I didn't have so many places I wanted to try I would have gone again during my visit. This place is simply amazing!!!! read more

Came in for what else, tacos! I ordered 4, 2 asada, Dorados, & al pastor. My favorite was the al pastor. It was very flavorful. The Dorados was a small & crunchy taco that packs some great flavor. The asada was good, but I have had better. I would definitely return & get more al pastor & Dorados. Service was friendly and fast. The inside of this B restaurant is pretty spacious for many people to sit. Don't worry about the lines, people tend to down these small tacos in just two bites. read more

I have never had a rib taco before but the concierge at the hotel highly recommended it so I had to try it! My boyfriend and I shared a few steak, al pastor and ribs tacos. Although all were delicious, my favorite was the rib tacos. I also appreciated all the different salsas on each table you can chose from to make the tacos even more tasty. Staff was nice and helpful despite of our inability to speak much spanish! We also went to this desert place named d'nuez down the street after our tacos. They had an excellent caramel cheesecake and it was a steal. 13 pesos for mini cheesecake! If I didn't eat that many tacos before stopping here, I would have tried more of their good looking desserts. read more

Went to this place about a week ago now, I've only just recovered from severe food poisoning! Their tacos made me throw up uncontrollably all day long, must have thrown up around 30 times in one day, it got to the point where I had to call a doctor to come to my hotel room where he injected me with three shots! If it wasnt for those shots I would have continued to throw up uncontrollably, the next day I was still Ill and I felt like I wanted to throw up all day and couldn't eat anything, the day after that I threw up again! It took around 5 days for me to go back to being my normal self, my trip was ruined because of this taco place, definitely don't recommend! read more

Probably one of the best places to have tacos in Guadalajara. The place is almost always full (which is always a good sign) and their tacos are simple but very tasty. They have many different ones I recommend asada, pastor, lengua (tongue) and the gringas (quesadilla with the meat of your choice). The service is excellent, its a must in the city. read more

This place is so far the only good taco place in the providencia area that I have been to. They have a large selection of meats. You can order by the taco or by half or whole orders. Sensational asada and al pastor tacos. The asada tacos are al carbon and the flavor is just spot on! The al pastor too were fantastic and the chipotle salsa they use on that taco is really flavorful! Fantastic and kind service from the many staff members that are there floating around.
