We placed an order for pickup and ordered 8 pupusas for the family and rice and beans. When my parents got to my house we noticed they didn't pack the rice and beans. We called them and told them there are no rice and beans and they literally argued with my dad. Saying they did pack it. They didn't believe us! We were just calling to inform them of this, we told them we can send a picture, face time, and even told them to check their cameras, but they proceeded to argue with us. We've been there a million times but never going back again after that. So ridiculous to sit there and argue with us over rice and beans not being in the bag. We didn't even call them upset we called them to say they didn't pack it then they got attitude with us, refused to refund it, and said we were lying. 1st let's start off by saying the wait for food was very long, someone who ordered after us actually got their food first. The server was rude. she took our order and told us gorditas came with beans. We asked for no tomato, it came out with tomatoes and no beans. She got an attitude and stated I didn't mention anything about beans when she was the one that said it came with beans. She brought the plate back and said they told her it doesn't come with beans. The food was so warm and fresh. i got the tacos and they were delicious and the salsa bar they had was very good. I have to start off saying I absolutely love this place, and I have been going 1-2 times a week, almost every week since they opened. But lately, something has changed. I 100% understand the prices going up, but to put little to zero meat in it, I can't accept. This is the 3rd time in a row where my Torta or Burrito only had a tablespoon of meat. This time, with my torta, it was more like a teaspoon. Please review pictures for proof. I will give this place 1 more try because their food is really good, especially the Barbacoa and Papusas. This is my favorite place for pupusas. I definitely recommend their tostadas with pastor, it is so flavorful, just trust me. Flautas are also delicious, very cheesy and chicken tastes good (some places have plain bland chicken in their flautas). Just a disclaimer, food is made to order so you may have to wait a bit so if you're in a hurry, I recommend calling in your order. read more

Definitely more Salvadorian than Mexican when it comes to Latin American food, but the breakfast tacos were pretty good. Salsa is pretty runny, so don't go if you prefer chunky. Have heard good things about their pupusas, so I'll have to return to try those. read more

I was going to go to the Italian place next door but when I saw they had pupusas and I had to go here instead. Doc I ordered pupusas and a carne asada taco. The carne asada was amazing. The flavor was so good. The pupusas were pretty small. I was actually surprised because the ones I order at home are much larger. They did have a great taste and the staff was very friendly. It was cooked to order and the presentation and portion was perfect. This establishment is very clean and the prices are very reasonable. It's a medium sized place and could hold a group of 10 at one time. The customer service was up to par and my wait time was very minimal. This place comes highly recommended. The restaurant is clean and it is a nice chill atmosphere. Parking is easy and there are a lot of spaces. They have many options from tacos, to burritos, elotes corn and much more! This place was my favourite latino restaurant in the area after bad experiences at the Irving restaurants until today. Cashier by mistake charged me twice for a drink. I noticed the mistake and asked for a refund. Cashier made such a drama and I try to simplify the situation by asking her for a pupusa instead of doing all the movements on the register. She said no because that item cost .75. cents more and offered me a taco. I said never mind it's okay keep the 1.75. Then she came back with the money and tried to make me feel bad because she had to give the refund from her own pocket. It was her mistake not mine. The suggestion is to consider in the review are: Food: This isn't a Salvadorian restaurant. This is a Mexican restaurant that happens to have a couple of Salvadorian dishes. I asked for only pork pupusas (my favorite and available in all Salvadorian restaurants) but I was told they didn't have that option. Reluctantly, I ordered the cheese and pork pupusas. I couldn't find the pork in the pupusa. It was 99% cheese and the rest were brown specs of something that didn't taste like anything. I also ordered the cheese with loroco pupusa. Interestingly to my amazement, the description said that it tastes like spinach. Well... it's nothing like spinach. Loroco is a flower that has its own taste. Spinach has no taste. I digress. The cheese loroco pupusa was really good. I could taste the loroco and could also see it. This pupusa was really good. The tomato sauce (someone said watery), that's what it's supposed to be: watery. It was tasty and the curtido was really good. I didn't try any of the mexican dishes. Service: Excellent service. She was genuinely concerned about my not seeming to like their food. Solid 3.5 stars What a gem for Arlington. My hubby and I both ordered the #4 which includes 1 papusa, 1 flauta and 1 street taco. Before I get into the main part of the dish let me say the red salsa is bangin' super spicy and delicious. The side of rice was nice and fluffy and the side of refried beans were rich and flavorful.
