2.5 stars Having…read morejust moved to Brussels, I had basically given up on trying to buy a coffeemaker on a Sunday when I happened to pass by this halal grocery store. Like most international grocery stores, they have a big section in the back with random cooking appliances, utensils, etc. I was pleased to see that they had an array of decent-quality, Italian-made stovetop espresso pots at very reasonable prices. The store was big enough that you could do all your usual grocery shopping there if you needed to, and they have a halal butcher there. And it's open on Sundays! Why so few stars? The cashier was incredibly rude and short with me, so much that the whole experience left me in a bad mood.

I have always done my shopping for Chinese products at Kam Yuen and Wang Li just off Boulevard…read moreAnspach in the center of Brussels. I pass Xuan Minh every day on my walks down Avenue Georges Henri but for some reason never considered doing my shopping there. I should. And so should you. They seem to have almost everything that the larger Chinese grocery stores have, all packed densely together into the tiny shop space. The prices also seem very low and their Woluwe location is a nice and fairly central part of town.

Tasteless terrible food!…read more Very dishonest owner ...I ordered #66 from the menu (Black Tiger Prawns w/ Garlic & Coriander, rice or noodles)....the price was €16. She charged me an additional €2 for the noodles!!! The owner claimed that noodles aren't included in the menu item price!!!!! Top of that it wasn't "Black Tiger Prawns"....it was medium sized red prawns! I guess their business integrity isn't worth of €2 so that they have to rip off the customer for such a small amount!!!! Shame on you!

Bigger than a corner store, smaller than a supermarket. The…read morewares are mostly Turkish. Great olive and feta counter. My 9-year-old and I got some perfect red peppers and turkish yogurt, plus some veal at the butcher on the side, and made some awesome paprikash kind of thing.
