Olga is an absolute treasure. I wanted a showstopper dress for our twenty fifth wedding anniversary. I found it at Light in the Box. I knew based on the sizing it was going to be small. There was no way to match the fabric. So, since it was an inexpensive, I bought two. I asked her to cannibalize one to make the other. I know she added panels, but I have to look for it. It came out fantastic. And we were late getting a suit for hubby, guys shopping. So the pants needed hemming, and a few other small adjustments. She ended up with only 24 hours notice. My husband and I both needed formalwear tailored for an upcoming wedding; he needed a suit taken in and I needed a dress hemmed and the neckline raised. Olga did incredible work on very tricky sewing--I thought it would be really difficult to shorten suit cuffs, bring shoulders in, move zippers, etc. Her custom work was so precise that you cannot tell at ALL that the garments have been altered; my husband looks like he ordered a bespoke suit and I (in my modest opinion) look like I had a dress custom ordered to fit me like a glove. And she didn't just hem it or do an easy fix; she completely took the garments apart and re-sewed them--she really knows what she's doing. And beyond even my complete satisfaction with her sewing skills, I was deeply impressed with Olga's professionalism in running a small business. Her online appointment program works perfectly, and she responded to my appointment request within the hour. Upon arriving at her home, clients can see her business name and hours clearly posted at the door, and entering is just like stepping into a salon. Immaculately clean and tidy, the foyer, front room, dressing room, and workroom are exactly what you'd see if you went to an upscale boutique. Payments were easy (and quite reasonable), and the turnaround time was far quicker than I'd thought it could be (just one week for a complete overhaul of a men's suit? Wow!). And to top it all off, Olga is so friendly and kind--she is perfectly suited (forgive the pun!) to her work.
