Do not use this company!! This company takes advantage of the public. They state they are a no pass no pay station. They are not. When we brought it in, it failed. They had us pay $45 so we could obtain the certificate to show DMV. Then when we brought it back in, charged another $68. The owner admits that he does not run the car if he thinks it won't pass. This leaves you in a position that if it doesn't pass, and you need to drive it longer for the codes to pass, you are then left to drive illegally, leaving you vulnerable to more tickets and costs. read more

Did a walk in and was serviced within 30 minutes. Was helped out by Yuri with my smog test. Car did not take too long to test since there were 2 people ahead of me. Value and service were great along with time. I was in and out within 1 hour. Definitely recommend this spot. If your car does not pass smog contact this number (800) 952-5210. My Jeep had an issue that kept it from clear sailing and I kept coming back to this place like a bad penny. My friend and I changed a spark plug and a coil, got it checked, didn't work. Then we replaced all the coils and the thermostat, got it checked, didn't work. Finally, got it to the dealer where it had a recall issue, they fixed it, got it checked, and it passed...finally. Easy enough to get here and get started with paperwork but it's pretty stupid that the owner or tech guy working here doesn't smog cars in the order of people coming in. I came in 3rd this morning with 2 other people. A fourth person came in 20 minutes after me and somehow my car goes AFTER that person? I have been coming to this tail pipes location place for years with my classic and smog fussy 80s Nissan cars. It's one of the few no pass no pay places around and I never got the vibe that they are trying to pull some crap to get your money and they are helpful at telling you what could be wrong. It's always fun to talk and banter about cars with Zach and the fellas as well. Went out of there way to talk to my kids who were having a meltdown in the car and explained to them the process after explaining to me. My mom will be going tomorrow and my friends as well . I didn't bring any paperwork, and I was told it's not a problem, that if I don't pass, I don't pay. He is knowledgeable and honest about possible reasons for why a vehicle may not be passing smog (I have a lot of trouble getting my old Jeep Wrangler to pass) and his employees are always super helpful in assisting and with a retest. I walked in to get my car smogged and waited in the office for 10 minutes before walking out. No one even came in to the office to say hello or acknowledge me in anyway. The parking lot was empty and one car in the garage getting worked on by two men who ignored me but carried on with their foul language conversation, I refuse to spend money at a place with such horrible customer service, too many other automotive options in this area to be treated like that. read more
