Lunch $19.99!!! CHECK OUT VIDEO Hard to beat this AYCE! What a rhyme! Now it's review time! idk why I'm single. Food: Ok- so everything is amazing. Literally everything tastes fresh. Zero complaints on food. I don't typically like fried rolls but they're "what the hell" roll was packed with flavor and spice. It was surely a pleasant surprise. Service: everyone is always so kind and quick. It's perfect Ambiance: Your typical small shopping center sushi spot. Not too bright, small sushi bar. Great service and smells fresh! Thank me later!

I can't believe this was my first time trying Taizzi Sushi! This place is beyond amazing! A neighbor highly recommended it, and I'm so glad I finally gave it a try. From the moment I walked in, the service was exceptional, and the food???!!! Absolutely flawless! I went with the AYCE lunch menu, and let me tell you - every single item was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. Nothing and I do mean nothing, disappointed me. Every bite was SUPER packed with quality and taste, making this my top AYCE sushi spot! Trust me, that's a huge deal! A massive thank you to the Taizzi staff for an unforgettable dining experience. I'll definitely be back very soon!

This place is good, I did the all you can eat and the customer service is pretty good and I ate the California roll and the ell roll and it is pretty decent and fresh. Then I ordered the spicy ramen it is fresh and really flavorful. I recommend coming here if you're in Houston Tx.

We're regualrs here at Taizzi. They have the best sushi here in Katy in my opinion. Their salmon is very fresh and thickly sliced. The sushi selection is very tasty and their service is great! Susam has always been very pleasant and Nene, he's very friendly and warm! Their ambiance needs a bit of an update but their food surpasses it.

Great sushi spot. Came here for lunch with my sister. I love that they give out 4 piece half rolls. At most AYCE places you get the full 8 piece rolls, but then can't try as much. The 4 pieces were a great touch. Plus they have a ton of great appetizers and other dishes. The service is great, but also like that you can order straight from the tablet at the table. This is a must try if you're in the Katy area and live sushi! Small intimate little place with great offerings.

My husband and I were really hungry so we were looking for an all you can eat sushi place where they had non-rice options. (I recently learned that I need to be on a low carb diet.) I highly suggest you order a few dishes at a time. The staff record your order according to your table and they bring it out to you as fast as they can. Usually a few minutes. If there is an expected longer time for a certain dish, it will tell you on the menu. The place is really busy so they might miss a dish or two. Unless you really want that dish , it's OK that it was missed. You'll thank yourself in the end. We struggled to finish because we didn't know the rolls we ordered were FULL size rolls instead of the typical half from other ayce sushi places. There were a lot of great options to try. Almost all of them were great! The sashimi wasn't as soft as I liked but it's been a while since I've had sashimi. The grilled mackerel was filleted very well. Only a few fish bones were in it. All you can eat also includes soft drinks. Be warned, you have 90 minutes to order and that the idea is that you will not have any leftovers at the end of your meal. Even tho it sound short, please pace yourself ! The place has decent lighting. Tables and chairs were clean. Parking is free and out front .

The all you can eat part of the menu is confusing. So if 2 adults wants AYCE during the M-F lunch hour, it says $21 per person. So does this mean unlimited sushi and sashimi, etc.?

What is the latest pricing for AYCE for dinner? That includes Sashimi.

There's no separate price for sashimi like some other buffets. It' all-inclusive of one price for $35.99. Drinks are included, I'm not sure why the posted prices on the menu having 3 different levels but we've been here at least a dozen times and… Read more

Cute, modern interior, yall gotta admit, this probably the best we got in the west. ok down to business, my personal rec's I don't like the scallop here, I do like salmon belly, and their specials, so hearing the specials in the beginning is well worth your time. seared salmon belly, otoro, they actually change specials, so just let them tell you. DO NOT ORDER THE SPIDER ROLL - it's a big a* roll with a lot of rice, you're gonna go down. I would recommend ordering sashimi, nigiri first, then rolls at the end, unless you are under 30 with fast metabolism and can handle all those sauces and cream cheese. the paper menu says 3 rounds, but just think if it as waves, and the food will come fast. personally I like all salmon and shrimp tempura, have fun with the menu! and again, shout out to Ethan!

The service was wonderful and everything came out quickly. I tried the oysters which were my least favorite out of everything I tried. The onions take away the flavor of the oysters. Then I tried the unagi sushi and that one was okay it tasted like some other sushi rolls I've had. It was good it just didn't stand out. Then I tried the brown sugar scallops which the scallops are a big size and in like a thick soup like cream. It reminded me of clam chowder. I don't know if I would order it again but it is worth a try. I tried the foie gras and this was torched and I loved the texture where it melted in my mouth. However, the flavors were a bit weird I guess they're going for a fruity flavor but it just doesn't work together especially the dried strawberry on top. I tried the tomato kanapaccio and that one was good for a vegetable. I thought that blended well with all of the flavors. Then my favorite was the hamachi kosho it's spicy from the Serrano peppers but that kick is just what I needed in a hamachi. My next favorite was the miso cod. The miso cod had some bones in it but the fish was so soft and practically fell off the bone. The Brussel sprouts were good as well. It didn't stand out but it just tasted like other places nothing special. I also tried the sashimi belly flight, bluefin flight, and salmon flight. You can get these in nigiri with but I believe you get fewer slices(3 or 2) The belly flight was my favorite. It had 3 different fishes and my favorite on that spread was the o toro. The quality of the fish were tasty it didn't really have any flavors on it so do not expect a flavored fish this is just sashimi.

The weather will do whatever it will, but the menu remains seasonal with old favorites like the diced shrimp tempura (an absolute must), and new favorites. The fact that I could've been eating the broccoli katsu this entire time is absurd, and that white chili aioli can and should go on everything, especially the shrimp tempura. Quality remains consistent across the board and freshness was tasted at first bite of every dish. Service was great! Water was refilled without having to glance around, and though I couldn't get a midori sour today, my modified torched Paloma had the exact level of sweetness I wanted. As obvious as the casual polish present is, Tobiuo is such an approachable, welcoming establishment. Staff is so friendly and accommodating, allergies are even asked upfront so the meal can be appropriately modified, and the 2 - 5 pm happy hour menu is nothing to scoff at.

I like the udon a lot even though the broth was a bit sweet for me. The tempura was delicious and perfectly fried. The hamachi collar was a large portion but a bit dry. We're used to having hamachi collar that is more buttery than what we had at twenty five. The sushi was ok too. Wasn't the best we've had but we expected that so we weren't let down by the sushi. I had my birthday lunch there a few weeks ago and everything was excellent! I don't know what happened today. We had to repeatedly ask for the dishes we ordered. I even had to get up to find our server. We were there for an hour before the first item we ordered (from the kitchen) arrived at our table! It took so long we had to get it to go. We waited so long to get our shumai that I didn't have time to order my favorite udon. What we did get (2 sushi bar rolls) in a timely manner was excellent (Crazy roll). When my sister finally got her Philly roll she said it was good. My husband got his 2 pieces of kani sushi about 45 minutes in. The restaurant was not crazy busy so the only thing I can figure happened was that the kitchen lost our order. People that came in after us were served long before us (sushi and kitchen orders). Our server told us she gave us a discount ($5) for the issues. (They're having a $5 off special right now for everyone so no real compensation for the bad experience...) With our current financial situation, we are limiting our restaurant meals and to pay $19.99 per person for the three of us was supposed to be a treat. Sadly, it was not. We are severely regretting our decision to stop in for lunch at Sushi 9 today.
