I have eaten here many times on my visits to Canberra when staying at Dickson. Really enjoyed all the meals and can recommend the chicken biryani and of course the naan breads. Meals are fairly large and very tasty. Nice quiet environment for your evening meal and is fully licensed. read more

I really liked this restaurant. They had a good selection of different kinds of food, and the food itself was very good as well. I was especially impressed with their selection of naan. Normally, I am used to an Indian restaurant just having one or two kinds, but Taj Agra had at least 4, maybe 6! I had the one with meat, and it was very good. For my entree, I had the chicken korma, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, I thought the food was great and it was served at a reasonable price. I guess my only complaints are that we had to order rice separately, which when ordering what I ordered I was not used to, and the ambiance was a touch too formal for me. Very nice and helpful staff. They're very accommodating. The food is nice. Not the best Indian I've ever had, but definitely tasty. It became a sort of tradition to go there for their vegetarian banquet with some visiting relatives for a while. It's definitely a pleaser. read more

Our meal surpassed all expectations, crafted to achieve that unique blend of taste and texture so characteristic of traditional Indian cuisine. I could not fault the taste, presentation or service.
